Dear Kate,

My favorite Chinese festival is the Mid-Autumn Festival.

It is one of the most important traditional festivals in China. It falls on the fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month every year.

During this festival people usually go back home to get together and have a big dinner with their family. At night, they admire the full moon and share mooncakes with their family.

It’s my favorite festival because the full moon is a symbol of reunion and good luck. It makes me feel very happy to be with my family!
