2.prepare for 意为“为……做准备”.  prepare此处用作不及物动词,意为“使(自己)有准备”,其名词形式为 preparation,意为“准备;预备“; Life is full of challenges. We should hope for the best and prepare  for the worst. 生活充满挑战,我们应该怀最好的希望,做最坏的准备。
【拓展】 prepare还可用作及物动词,意为“准备”,常见用法有: （1）prepare sth.意为"准备某物”,其后常接名词或代词作宾语,表示准备的 内容。 Our teacher is preparing the lessons.我们的老师正在备课。（2） prepare to do sth.意为“准备做某事”. Taking out a piece of paper, he prepared to write to his parents. 他拿出一张纸,准备给他的父母写信。
3.ours 名词性物主代词,意为“我们的”,相当于"our+名词”,可在句中作 主语、表语或宾语。 That red car is ours.那辆红色的小汽车是我们的。 【拓展】 名词性物主代词在句中独立使用,其后不接名词,它相当于“形容词性物主 代词+名词”。This bike is mine.=This is my  bike.这是我的自行车。

特殊疑问句的结构（1）特殊疑问句一般用倒装结构：疑问词+助动词+主语+动词原形+其他?Why did you go there yesterday？你昨天为什么去了那里？（2）陈述语序：疑问词+谓语+宾语/状语？What made you so happy？ 宾语从句的时态如果主句为一般现在时，从句时态可根据具体情况来确定；如果主句为一般过去时，从句通常要用相应的表示过去的某种时态。口诀助记：主句若为现在时，从句时态随句意；主句若为过去时，从句时态变过去。
