Li Ming and his mum are shopping at the supermarket. 李明和他的妈妈正在超市购物。此处shop作不及物动词,意为“购物”。短语go shopping和 do some shopping表示“购物”。I often shop on Sundays.我经常在星期天购物。Let’s go shopping in the afternoon.下午我们去购物吧。[拓展]shop作可数名词,意为“商店”,与store意思相同。Look at the shop. It’s open. 看那个商店,门开着。2. Mrs. Li wants to buy some fresh vegetables. 李夫人想买一些新鲜的蔬菜。(1) want to do sth.意为“想要做某事”,相当于would like to do sth.。I want to do some shopping. = I would like to do some shopping.我想去买些东西。(2) buy及物动词,意为“买”。buy sth. for sb.相当于buy sb. sth.,意为“为某人买某物”。 Mrs. Zhang is buying some food. 张夫人正在买一些食物。 I want to buy a present for my mother. 我想给我的母亲买一件礼物。3. They are next to the carrots. 它们挨着胡萝卜。 next to相当于beside,意为“紧邻;挨着”。In the picture, my cousin is next to me. 在这张照片上,我的表妹紧挨着我。4. No problem. 不用谢。no problem可用于回答别人的道谢,意为“不用谢”,相当于“You are welcome.”。—Thanks a lot.非常感谢。—No problem. 不用谢。[拓展] no problem还可表示“没问题,行”,表示应允。 —Can you help me with my homework? 你能帮我做作业吗? —No problem. 没问题。5. Please follow me. 请跟我来。 follow意为“跟随”。 Follow me and you will find the park.跟着我你就会找到公园。 [拓展] follow意为“明白”。 Can you follow me? 你能明白我的话吗?6. I will take it. 我买这件了。 take用于购物场合,意为“买”,相当于buy。在口语中,当顾客选中商品,决定购买时,常说“I will take it/ them.”。 The shirt is very nice. I will take it. 这件衬衣很漂亮,我要买它了。7. one hundred 一百 hundred数词,意为“百”。前面有基数词时,表示具体的数量,hundred不能加-s。 two hundred 二百 eight hundred八百 [拓展] hundreds of是固定短语,意为“成百上千的”,前面不能再加基数词。 There are hundreds of trees over there.那边有成百上千棵树。Step 11 Homework1.
