Teaching important points:New words: cut; draw; paint; glue; tieKey structure: First,…And then,…Next,…Lastly,…Listen to ,read and understand the dialogue in Part A.Teaching difficult points:Learn to talk about how to make a kite and act it out. Teaching methods:Method of lead-in; Communicative approach; Game teaching method; Group workTeaching aids:A tape; A tape recording; Some things such as scissors, knife and so on Teaching procedures:Step 1. Pre-learningGreetings.Guessing game.Look at the picture on the screen and guess:-What is the girl doing?-She’s flying a kite.Enjoy an English song: Let your kite fly high.Brainstorming. Let students brainstorm what we need to make a kite.Step 2. While-learningAsk and answer:Boys and girls, do you know how to make a kite?Learn the new words and the procedures of making a kite.First, cut the bamboo. And then, cut the paper. Next, draw a picture and paint it with a brush.Lastly, glue the paper on the bamboo and tie a string to the kite.Play a game: Simon says.T:  Simon says cut the paper.Simon says draw a picture.Draw a picture.……Listen to the dialogue in Part A and fill in the blanks.Listen to the dialogue in Part A and repeat.Step 3. Post-learningGroup work. Work in groups of three or four. Take turns to talk about how to make a kite.Show time.Act out how to make a kite.Extension: Enjoy some pictures of DIY. Encourage students to make things on their own and cultivate their hands-on ability.Homework:Copy the new words in Part B five times.Tell your parents or friends how to make a kite.Blackboard Design:Unit3 Let’s make a kite.How to Make a KiteFirst, cut…And then, cut…    Next, draw…and paint…  Lastly, glue…and tie…
