1. To show a short video and some pictures for introduce Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
2. Encourage students to talk about something they have learned about Hong Kong.

听力训练（Listening）

1. To show the task in 2a and get students to read the statements in form.
2. Help students to analyse these statements for catching listening propose (relative, place, propose and person).
3. Play the tapes for the first time.Just listen without doing any task.
4. Listen again and try to circle the correct in each sentence.
5. Check the answers together and encourage student to say out the main idea of this conversation.
6. Help students to distinguish the fun activities and downside in the form.
7. Play the tapes for the third time and finish the task in 2b.(Give some pause if necessary for making notes.)
8. Listen again and check the answers.
9. Play the tapes for the last time.Students read after the tapes to correct pronunciation.
10. To explain some language point for each sentence.

对话练习（Dialogue）

1. Read the short dialogue for student and translate into Chinese.
2. Help students find replacements.
