I’ll have to travel there sometime. I have a trip planned to California in August. I can’t leave the U.S., because I don’t have a passport yet. (17) If I had one, I would even like to visit China besides Mexico.W: I recommend it. China is a great country.Text 10 More and more people today are going back to school as older adults. Why are people doing this? The main reason is that they aren’t satisfied with their present careers. (18) Maybe they are tired of their busy, stressful life in business and want to be a teacher — a job that helps others. Maybe they want to make more money. Or maybe they want to try something new. To make these changes in careers, they have to return to school to study a different major or get more education in the field they’re already in. But what are the difficulties of this decision? Well, firstly, it costs a lot of money to pay for school per year. They need work to pay for everyday costs of housing, food, clothing, and entertainments, so many people don’t have enough time. (19) Most people cannot quit their jobs and give school their full attention, so they must take classes at night and find time to study when they can. (20) Finally, going back to school after not being a student for so long might be more work than most people think. But to most of these students, it’s all worth it!
