In Seoul, you have three main forms of transportation: train, subway, and taxi. The fastest option to get around Seoul is the Airport Railroad Express train. When life tries to bring you down, just dance! That’s the message from Peng Xiaoying, 45, and her 49-year-old husband, Fan Deduo, in Zhejiang province. The couple-farmers who grow corn in Ruian, Wenzhou - recently went viral on the Internet with a shuffle dance(鬼步舞) they invented. They’ve cheered up millions of Chinese with smiling faces and easygoing attitude to life. The couple turned to dancing about four years ago. Fan was in low spirits after a serious traffic accident in Yunnan province 18 years ago. He became nervous, easily upset by small matters, and had trouble sleeping at night due to the accident. The couple then decided to end their shoe-selling business in Yunnan and returned to their hometown, Ruian.
To help overcome his sadness, Peng, who was a big fan of dancing in public squares, invited Fan to join her. As he danced, his suffering disappeared like magic. The couple then continued square dancing. That’s where they invented the shuffle, mixing some elements(元素) of rural life such as combing hair.
During the novel coronavirus epidemic(新冠病毒流行病), the couple uploaded their dance videos to Douyin, also known as TikTok, and began live-streaming on the sharing platform. Trust me, you don’t want to get caught under a tsunami! Tsunamis are one of the world’s most powerful natural forces. They can cause huge amounts of damage.
But do you know exactly what a tsunami is? They are huge, powerful waves in the ocean that grow as they reach the shore. Most tsunamis are actually caused by earthquakes. An earthquake happens when a big piece of the Earth’s crust( 地 壳 ) suddenly moves. When the piece of ocean floor moves, it creates big holes. The water floods in to fill these holes. When the water moves that quickly, it creates a huge wave. This is how tsunamis are born!
Other natural disasters like landslides, volcanic eruptions, and glaciers breaking off can also cause tsunamis. Once the water starts moving because of the force of the disaster, large waves begin to spread. These waves can move very fast. They have been recorded at speeds from 400 up to 500 miles per hour! They can also move across very long distances.
At first, the waves of the tsunami may not seem that tall. That’s because when the waves travel through the deep parts of the ocean, the top of each wave is very short. But as that wave comes near to the coast, it grows in height. Remember, the tsunami travels quickly. If you are sitting on a beach, you may not see the wave coming at first. But when the wave arrives, it will be like a towering wall of water. Some waves are as tall as 100 feet high. The biggest tsunami ever recorded happened in 1958 in Lituya Bay, Alaska. The wave was over 1,720 feet tall, and it wiped out trees, vegetation, and everything else in its way.
As frightening as tsunamis can be, you don’t need to worry too much about them. They don’t happen that often. Only about two tsunamis happen every year. And it is said that serious, really damaging tsunamis only happen about every fifteen years. So don’t worry.

On Tuesday, Australian Broadcasting Corporation was informed about the patented device that is developed by Len Humphreys and Thomas Maschmeyer, Sydney University professors, to process plastic. The pair of Australian scientists have come off with the solution to the significant problem in today's environment that is the recycling of plastic. Plastic is the only thing that currently cannot be recycled.
The two scientists have invented a device called Catalytic Hydrothermal Reactor. The method that can deal with plastic is known as the Catalytic Hydrothermal Reactor(Cat-HTR). Humphreys said to Australian Broadcasting Corporation that the new device could turn plastic into fuel or remade new plastic with the process that is known as chemical recycling. By the process of chemical recycling, the plastic changes at a molecular level, and after that, it changes the plastic into oil.
Humphreys also said that the Cat-HTR is different from physical recycling as you don't have to separate the plastic according to the type and color. The device could change the plastic back to the liquid and the chemical that they were formed. The device could also change the plastic into petrol or any different kinds of plastic, according to Humphreys.
The Cat-HTR could recycle everything from milk boxes to wetsuits according to the report. The product is going to be introduced in the United Kingdom by the company Licella as the company is pushing the technology into the market. This product is an emergency requirement all around the globe to reduce the waste as every year, and only ten percent of the 3.5 tons of plastics that are thrown away are recycled. Due to the increasing misuse, the plastic was almost banned from the market; still, the issue is not solved, and the new device may reduce the problem.

But do you know exactly what a tsunami is? They are huge, powerful waves in the ocean that grow as they reach the shore. Most tsunamis are actually caused by earthquakes. Other natural disasters like landslides, volcanic eruptions, and glaciers breaking off can also cause tsunamis. Once the water starts moving because of the force of the disaster, large waves begin to spread. These waves can move very fast. They have been recorded at speeds from 400 up to 500 miles per hour! They can also move across very long distances.
At first, the waves of the tsunami may not seem that tall. That’s because when the waves travel through the deep parts of the ocean, the top of each wave is very short. But as that wave comes near to the coast, it grows in height. Remember, the tsunami travels quickly. If you are sitting on a beach, you may not see the wave coming at first. On Tuesday, Australian Broadcasting Corporation was informed about the patented device that is developed by Len Humphreys and Thomas Maschmeyer, Sydney University professors, to process plastic. The pair of Australian scientists have come off with the solution to the significant problem in today's environment that is the recycling of plastic. Plastic is the only thing that currently cannot be recycled.
The two scientists have invented a device called Catalytic Hydrothermal Reactor. The method that can deal with plastic is known as the Catalytic Hydrothermal Reactor(Cat-HTR). Humphreys said to Australian Broadcasting Corporation that the new device could turn plastic into fuel or remade new plastic with the process that is known as chemical recycling. By the process of chemical recycling, the plastic changes at a molecular level, and after that, it changes the plastic into oil.
Humphreys also said that the Cat-HTR is different from physical recycling as you don't have to separate the plastic according to the type and color. The device could change the plastic back to the liquid and the chemical that they were formed. The device could also change the plastic into petrol or any different kinds of plastic, according to Humphreys.
The Cat-HTR could recycle everything from milk boxes to wetsuits according to the report. The product is going to be introduced in the United Kingdom by the company Licella as the company is pushing the technology into the market.
