三、教学过程
Task 1
Step 1 Warming-up
Guide Ss to work in pairs and introduce their partners to the class.
【设计意图】通过介绍自己的同伴,复习上节课所学的句式,同时潜移默化地引出本节课的听力主题。
Step 2 Pre-listening
1. Help Ss learn some new words.
【设计意图】通过图片,学习本节课的生词,为接下来的听力练习扫清词汇障碍。
2. Guide Ss to read profiles and circle the correct answers in the table.
【设计意图】通过阅读信息,熟悉听力中的主人公,同时培养学生听前看题的习惯。
Step 3 While-listening
1. Guide Ss to listen to the conversation and complete the rest of the table.
【设计意图】通过完成表格练习,训练学生听的能力。
2. Ask questions to check the answers.
(1) How old is Kitty?
(2) Is Kitty’s hair long or short?
(3) Is she cute?

【设计意图】采用问答的形式进行信息的核对,不仅核对了信息,而且练习了学生提问题的能力。

【设计意图】通过听,补全短文,训练学生的听记能力。
Step 3 Post-listening
1. Guide Ss to work in pairs and talk about questions about Kitty and Amy.
2. Guide Ss to work in pairs and talk about the questions about their friends.
【设计意图】通过回答问题,做基于听力材料的输出活动,内化语言和信息。
Task 2
Step 1 Pre-listening
1. Help Ss learn the new sentence and the new word.
【设计意图】通过图示,讲解glad to meet you这一句型以及单词glad,为接下来的听力口语活动扫清句型及词汇上的障碍。
2. Guide Ss to look at the picture and answer questions.
【设计意图】通过图片及问题引出听力材料的主人公,同时为学生设下悬念,引导学生带着悬念去听内容。
Step 2 While-listening
1. Guide Ss to listen and answer the questions.
【设计意图】通过听,获取对话的大意和核心信息,培养学生获取大意和关键信息的能力。
2. Guide Ss to listen to the conversation again and write T (true) or F (false).
【设计意图】通过判断对错的练习,引导学生进一步关注细节信息。
Step 3 Post-listening
1. Guide Ss to listen and read the conversation.
【设计意图】通过朗读聚焦语音知识,同时在听读的过程中,引导学生发现在听中的漏洞,引起注意。
2. Guide Ss to think about what they can ask about when they meet new friends.
