一、教学内容

1.词汇：does,help,house,e-mail,zoo,shopping,read,for,bue,wash,to,near,take,bus,very much.

2.句型：Does she help you do some cleaning on Saturday ?

Yes, she does./No , she doesn’t

二、教学目标

1.熟练掌握、运用一般现在时第三人称单数。

2. 能用英语表达周末简单的活动。

三、教学步骤

Step 1.Revision

Revise the last unit by asking questions.

Step 2.Presentation

1. Hold up a clock and say: What’s the time? (What time is it?)Help the class to answer: It’s seven thirty.

2. Present 6:50,7:00,7:15 in the same way。

3. As well,explain that in 6:50,the 6 refers to the hour and 50 refers to the minutes after the hour.

4. Give more examples: 12:30,6:15,4:40,4:45,2:50,2:00,etc

Step 3 Practice

1. Point to any time and ask the students to say them our one by one。

2. Get several students to hold up their clocks and ask and answer。  

A:What time is it?

B:It’s twelve thirty.etc

Step 4.Presentation

1. Teach some important phrases by doing the actions.  

Point to the clock and say: Oh,it’s six fifty.I must get up.   Let the Ss try to understand the Meaning of get up。

2.Teach the following phrases in the same way.  

Oh,it’s seven.I must have breakfast.   Oh,it’s seven fifteen.I must go to school.   Oh,it’s seven thirty.I must hurry up. I’m late.

Step 5 Game

Ask one student to do some actions and let the other students describle what he does.

Step 6 Talk

Let the students cover the words in the picture and discuss the actions at different time in the picture.

Step7 Dialogue

Listen to the tape and answer: Is Lily late for school? Then read after the tape

四、知识讲解

1. Does Nick play computer games too much at the weeke

尼克在周末电脑游戏玩得太多吗？too much 太多，此处表示程度，如watch TV too much ；too much后也可以接不可数名词，如too much homework/water。

2. She sometimes helps me clean the house.她有时帮我打扫屋子。

help sb. do/to do sth.  意为帮助某人做某事，如help the boy (to)wash the  dishes。help sb. with sth.也有此含义，如Dad often helps me with my English。

3. He sometimes writes e-mails to his friends.他有时发邮件给朋友们。

write e-mails to sb. 也可表达为e-mail sb.

4.She likes to tell us about her weekends.她喜欢告诉我们周末的情况。

tell sb. about sth. 是“告诉某人关于某事”的意思。例:She tells him about her school.

5.She doesn’t take a bus home. 她不乘公共汽车回家。

take a bus home 也可以表达为go home by bus; 类似的表达式还有walk home/ go home on foot;  ride to school/ go to school by bike等等。

6.She enjoys walking down the street and saying hello to her neighbours.

她喜欢沿着街道散步，向邻居们问好。enjoy doing sth.意为like doing sth. 喜欢做某事say hello to sb.意为“向…问好”，例如say sorry to …，say goodbye to…等等。

7．我们在上个单元学过了当主语是第三人称单数以外的人称时，一般现在时的结构为：“主+动词原形”，变否定和一般疑问问句时要借助助动词“do”。如果主语是第三人称单数，又会出现什么情况呢？这就是我们本单元要学习的内容。

当主语是第三人称单数时，其结构为“主+动词的第三人称单数形式”，第三人称单数形式的具体规则如下：

1）一般情况下，动词原形后面加上s，在清辅音后面读/s/，在元音和浊辅音后面读/z/。如：play—plays, work—works, get—gets, read—reads。

2）如果动词是辅音字母加y结尾的，则要把y变成i再加上es，一般读/z/。如：fly—flies, carry—carries, study—studies。

3）以s, x, ch, sh 结尾的动词，要加上es,一般读/iz/。如：pass—passes, watch—watches, wish—wishes。

4）以o结尾的动词，要加上es, 一般读/z/，如：go—goes, do—does。

8.Does Nick often play with you? 尼克常和你一起玩吗? 

play with sb. 意为“和某人一起玩”     chat with sb. 意为“和某人聊天”

9.By the way, would you like to play with us now?顺便问一下，你想现在和我们一起玩吗？

by the way 意为“顺便说一下”。例如：By the way, what do you do?

1. would like to do sth. 意为“愿意做某事”。例如：Would you like to go to the park with us? /  Do you want to go to the park with us?

 11．It’s nice to meet you.见到你很高兴。

同“Nice to meet you.”。
