Lesson 28: Rich or Poor? It Doesn’t Matter!
设计说明 首先,老师引导学生谈论未来的职业及生活目标从而导入新课。接着,利用图片,通过谈论未来的职业教授本课的生词及短语。然后,通过听后匹配、读后判断正误、读后回答问题逐步学习课文内容。紧接着,阅读找重要的表达并翻译、跟读并根据思维导图复述课文内容。最后,处理Let’s Do It!中的剩余题目,并以小组为单位完成No. 4的任务。本课为阅读课,采用任务型教学的方法,先学习生词和短语,为下文的听力和阅读扫清障碍,再由听力进入课文的学习,以多样式的阅读来引导学生学习课文,培养学生多方面的阅读能力。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词: manager, business 接触单词:Lucas, crop, company, creative, Alan, goal 短语:run a business 2.能力目标 (1)掌握本课的生词和表达; (2)能描述自己未来可能从事的职业及其缘由。 3.情感目标 为自己的未来做规划。 重点难点 1.重点:掌握本课节的重点单词、短语和句型。 2.难点:能描述自己未来可能从事的职业及其缘由。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课课文及听力练习的音频。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Have a free talk between the teacher and the students. Talk about the future jobs and life goal. What do you want to do in the future? Do you want to be a/an... in the future? Why or why not? What is your biggest goal? What will you do to make it come true? Note:goal /ɡəʊl/ n. 目标 Step 2 Presentation Teach the new words crop, manager, company, creative, business and expression run a business by talking about the future jobs. 1. Show the class the picture and talk like this: Teacher says or asks: Look at the men. What are they? They’re farmers. What are they doing? They’re growing the crops. 2. Show the class another picture and talk like this: Look!What’s the man? He is a manager. He works in a big company. He is creative and runs a business and leads a team.
3. Get the class to read the new words and expression and then remember them. Step 3 Listening and matching Teacher says: Look at the boy. He is Lucas. What does he hope to do when he grows up? What about his friend Alan and Alan’s sister? Listen and match the people with their jobs.

Step 5 Reading and translating Get the class to read the passage, and find the following expressions, then translate them. hope to do sth. 希望做某事 grow up 长大 run a business 经营生意 lead a team 领导一个团队 work hard努力工作 make sb./sth.+ adj. 使某人/某物…… be nice to sb. 对某人好 encourage sb. to do sth. 鼓励某人做某事 It doesn’t matter. 不要紧,没关系。 in their fields 在他们的田地里 Step 6 Reading and retelling 1. Get the class to read the passage. 2. Get the class to retell the passage according to the mind map.
Step 7 Exercises 1. Get the class to listen to the passage and fill in the blanks. Then match the sentences with the pictures. (Let’s Do It! No. 2)
