Lesson 28: A Family Picnic
设计说明 首先, 通过讨论两个问题引入本课话题“野餐”;接着,投影展示与野餐相关的图片,学习新单词,为课文学习做好充分的准备;然后,听课文录音,给图片标序号,使学生初步理解课文大意。再让学生读课文,把握细节,将人物和他们正在从事的活动搭配起来,并认识动词的现在分词的构成。紧跟着进行口头练习,问答人物在做什么事情,加深对课文的学习,并练习现在进行时。问答之后,进行写的练习,提高学生的写作能力。最后,总结课堂内容。本课遵循“学练结合,层层递进,练习提升”的原则,最终使学生掌握本课内容,达到教学目标。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:picnic, carry, basket, lot, quiet 接触词汇:Rover, tablecloth 短语:go on a picnic, a basket of…, lots of…, look out 2.能力目标 掌握现在进行时态的构成、用法和基本句式结构;理解并朗读短文。 3.情感目标 参加家庭活动,增进家庭亲情; 重点难点 1. 重点:本课节重点单词、短语和句型; 2. 难点:能用现在进行时谈论正在发生的事情。 教学准备 PPT 课件;课文音频。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Discussion 1. Get the students to work in groups. Have them discuss the questions: Who would you like to go on a picnic with? What would you like to eat? 2. Ask some groups to tell the class about their answers. Step 2 Word studying 1. Show five pictures to teach the new words picnic, carry, basket, tablecloth and lot.
2. Teach the new words quiet and Rover by having the students repeat them loudly. quiet/ˈkwaɪət/ adj. 安静的;平静的 Rover/ˈrəʊvə/ 罗孚(此处为宠物名) Step 3 Listening 1. Get the students to listen and number the pictures.(Let’s Do It! No.1) _______ _______ ______ ______ ______ 2. Check the answers. Answers:3-1-5-4-2 Step 4 Reading and matching 1. Get the students to read the lesson and match the people with the actions.(Let’s Do It! No.2) Answers: (Above) 2. Pay attention to the words ending with -ing. make + -ing→making paint + -ing→painting eat + -ing→eating put + -ing→putting 3. Get the students to think of other verbs with –ing. For example: doing, showing, borrowing, smiling, staying, passing, carrying, planning, catching, ordering Step 5 Reading and finding Get the students to read and find out the phrases. Then put them into Chinese. 1. go on a picnic 2. a basket of... 3. lots of... 4. look out Answers: 1. 去野餐 2. 一篮子…… 3. 许多…… 4. 小心;注意 Step 6 Asking and answering Get the students to work in pairs. Look at the pictures. Ask and answer the questions.
Answers: They are going on a picnic. He is carrying a basket. Answer: She is making a salad. Answer: She is putting the food and drinks on a tablecloth. Answers: He is making sandwiches. It is eating the meat. Answer: They are painting. Step 7 Writing Teacher says: What do you and your family like to do together? Draw or bring a picture of your family. Talk about it in groups and write a short passage.(Let’s Do It! No.4) Step 8 Summary Review the following sentences learnt in this lesson with the whole class. 询问和描述某人正在做某事: 1. —What is...doing? —He/She is... 2. —What are...doing? —They are... Step 9 Language points 1. My family and I are going on a picnic near the lake. 我和我的家人打算去湖附近野餐。 (1) 表示位置移动的动词go, come, fly, leave等,其现在进行时态通常表示将要发生的动作。 I am going to school in half an hour. 半小时之后我要去上学。 (2) go on a picnic意为“去野餐”,picnic的另一个常用短语是have a picnic,意为“野餐;吃野餐”。 We often go on a picnic on weekends. 我们通常在周末去野餐。 Let’s have a picnic this morning. 今天上午我们举行野餐吧。 2. The two boys are carrying a big box.两个男孩正在搬一个大箱子。 Please bring some apples here. 请带一些苹果到这儿来。 Can I take my friends to the party.我可以带我的朋友去参加聚会吗? Can you get some water? 你能去取一些水吗? (2) a basket of...意为“一篮子……”。在英语中常用这种结构表示可数名词或不可数名词的数量。再如: a bag of…一袋…… a cup of... 一杯…… a bottle of... 一瓶子…… a box of... 一箱子…… I have a basket of eggs. 我有一篮子鸡蛋。 We can see two big boxes of books in the room. 在房间里我们可以看到有两大箱子书。 3. There are lots of fruits and vegetables for us. 我们有很多水果和蔬菜。 (1)这是一个there be句型,表示“在某地有某物”,be动词在数上与后面的名词保持一致。 There is a big tree in front of the house. 在房子的前面有一棵大树。 There is some tea in the cup. 杯子里有一些茶。 There are some boys in the room. 房间里有一些男孩。 [注意] 如果有两个或两个以上的名词作主语,be动词则与最靠近它的名词在数上保持一致,即遵循“就近原则”。 There is a pen and two books on the desk. 书桌上有一支钢笔和两本书。 There are two books and a pen on the desk. 书桌上有两本书和一支钢笔。 (2) lots of相当于a lot of, 意为“许多,大量”,既可以修饰可数名词复数(= many),也可以修饰不可数名词(= much)。 lots of restaurants 许多餐馆 lots of milk 大量的牛奶 辨析:lots of/ a lot of与a lot ①lots of/ a lot of意为“许多;大量”,不能单独使用,后面必须接名词。 There are lots of people in the park. 公园里有许多人。 ②a lot意为“十分;非常”,可单独使用,修饰动词,相当于very much。 Thanks a lot. 非常感谢。 4. Look out, Dad! 小心,爸爸! look out意为“小心;注意”,相当于be careful。 Look out! The bus is coming. 当心!公共汽车来了。 [拓展] look out还有“向外看”的意思。 They are looking out of the window. 他们正在向窗外看。 [联想] look的其他短语还有: look at看 look for寻找 look after照顾 Step 10 Homework 1.
