先通过让学生结对交谈自己社区中有什么，复习上节课所学内容，鼓励学生积极思考有关社区的人以及自己了解的不同职业，由此导入新课。借助图片和句子语境，呈现本课生词短语，并让学生熟记。课文学习可以设置多种形式，如听后完成句子，听后完成思维导图，泛读判断表述正误，精读各段落回答问题，读后完成语篇概述等。让学生在理解的基础上，抓住关键信息。完成Let’s Do It! 活动3的练习，让学生明确不同时态的实际应用。接下来，让学生小组讨论自己社区的人，提供语言输出、自主表达的机会。还可以让学生小组活动，畅想“梦想社区”——它是什么样子的以及如何让它更好。由此激发学生的想象力，并逐渐让学生萌发“我为社区作贡献”的想法。接下来还要对本课的重难知识点进行讲解，并进行当堂检测，查缺补漏。

Step 1  Revision

Ask the students to work in pairs. Ask and answer like this:

A: What’s in your neighbourhood?

B: My neighbourhood has a book store and a bakery. What’s in your neighbourhood?

A: My neighbourhood has a clothing shop and a flower shop.

Present some pictures and expressions to help them.

Get some pairs to talk about their neighbourhood in front of the class.

Step 2  Thinking about it

·What do you know about the people in your neighbourhood?

·How many different jobs can you name?

Write down the jobs that they can name:

teacher, doctor, nurse, driver, pilot, policeman, scientist, postman, singer, farmer, cook, worker…

Step 3  Presentation 

Teach the new words and phrases interview, tailor, enjoyable, fix, sound, treat, be busy doing…and sound like.

侧重于修补破损严重、构造复杂的事物，如房屋、汽车、桥梁等。

I have to repair my house this weekend. 这个周末我必须修葺我的房屋。

3. It sounded like an enjoyable job. 这听起来像是一份令人愉快的工作。

(1) sound like听起来像

其中的 like为介词，其后通常接名词、代词或动词-ing作宾语。

It sounds like a great place for a holiday. 这听起来是个度假的好去处。

That sounds like a child smiling. 那听起来好像是孩子的笑声。

(2) sound  link. v. 听起来

后面常接形容词作表语。

His voice sounded strange on the phone. 他的声音在电话里听着怪怪的。

[拓展]常见的连系动词有：一“是”(be)，一“觉”(feel)，四“起来”(taste, smell, look, sound)，四“变成”(become, get, turn, go)。

(3) enjoyable adj. 令人愉快的；有趣的　可作定语或表语。

We think that movie is very enjoyable. 我们认为那部电影很有趣。

We had a most enjoyable journey. 我们有一次最愉快的旅行。
