    设计说明

    首先,检查完作业后,通过单元末的歌曲引入warm colourcool colour,并通过彩虹和教材中的Building Your Vocabulary来复习表示颜色(暖色冷色)和衣服的单词。然后,讲解语法——人称代词和物主代词,并处理教材中相应的练习。接着是听说练习,并总结e, ea, ee; I; a, or, erir, or, ur的发音。最后,描述衣服和处理自我检测。整个设计遵循单词——语法——句子的顺序进行,讲练结合,并把听说写融入其中,穿插进行,浑然一体。

    教学目标

    通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标:

    1.知识目标

    掌握本单元新学的单词、短语和句型;

    掌握本单元的语法:人称代词和物主代词。

    2.能力目标

    (1)能识别发//, /ɪ/, /ə//ɜː/的常见的字母或字母组合;

    (2)能正确运用本单元所学的交际用语。

    3.情感目标

    培养学习英语的兴趣,有效地用英语与他人交流,尊重彼此的差异,积极与同伴合作。

    重点难点

    1. 重点:(1)掌握本单元的语法:人称代词和物主代词;

    (2)能识别发//, /ɪ/, /ə//ɜː/的常见的字母或字母组合

    2. 难点:能正确运用本单元所学的交际用语。

    PPT 课件;本课节的有关音频;彩笔。

    教学过程

    Step 1  Warming up

    1. Retell the passage in Lesson 12.

      Show the mind map of Lesson 12, and get the class to retell the passage according to the mind map.

     

     

    2. Review the colours and clothes.

      (1)Play the video for the class to watch and sing along with it.

    Who Is Wearing Red?

    Who is wearing red?

    Ohwho is wearing red?

    Please tell me if you can.

    Oh, who is wearing red?

    Jenny is wearing red.

    Oh, Jenny is wearing red.

    Thats the colour of her skirt.

    She is wearing red.

    (2) Get the class to answer the following question after listening to the song.

    What colours can you find in the song?

    Answer: Red and green.

    Teacher says: Red is a warm colour and green is a cool colour.

    Step 2  Presentation 

    Show the picture of rainbow and review the colours. Then divide them into two groups: the warm colours and the cool colours.

    Teacher says: What colour are they? Get the class to answer.

          

    Step 3  practice

    1. Review the clothes and divide them into two groups: the warm clothes and the cool clothes.

    (1) Get the class to say out the names of the clothes and spell the names.

    (2) Divide the clothes into two groups: the warm clothes and the cool clothes.

    2. Get the class to colour the clothes warm colours or cool colours according to warm clothes or cool clothes.

    3. Play the game.

    Pick a colour word. Then use each letter in the word to start a sentence.

    Example:

    W..........( White is a colour. )

    H..........( He has a white sweater. )

    I.......... (It is new.)

    T..........(Tom likes his white sweater.)

    E.........(Every boy has a sweater.)

    Show another example.

    B..........( Blue is a colour. )

    L..........( Listen to the teacher in class. )

    U.......... (Uncle Wang is a good worker. )

    E.........(Eggs are good for our health. )

    Step 4  Grammar

    1. Show personal pronouns and possessive pronouns to the class.

    2. Explain the usage of the pronouns.

      主格用作主语,宾格用作宾语,物主代词用作定语,其后必须接名词。

    They’re my good friends. I often help them.

    他们是我的好朋友。我经常帮助他们。

      Is this his ruler? 这是他的尺子吗?

    助记:

    人称代词主格

    我是I,你是you,三个人称要分清:

    男用he,女用she, it指物要明白。

    以上说的是单数,还有复数we, you, they

    3. Complete the chart.

      Get the class to complete the chart and check them.

    Step 5  Listening

    Play the recording for the class to listen to the passage and match the people with the clothes.

    1. Play the recording for the class to listen and repeat.

    Step 7  Describing

    1. Get the class to bring some of their favourite clothes to school and have a fashion show. Take turns being the fashion show host and describe the classmates’ clothes.

    2. Look through the example with the class, and do it by themselves.

      Example:

    Host: This is Wang Xia. She is wearing a red sweater and blue jeans. Her sweater goes well with her jeans. She looks great!

    Step 8  Looking and answering

    1. Look through the example with class, and make sure the class understand it.

    2. Show other traditional clothing and get the class to answer the questions.

    3. Get the class to answer the questions according the clothes given.

    1. Get the class to complete them and check them in pairs.

    2. Give the class possible versions.

    (1) Talking about Colours

    Blue is my favourite colour.

    …, but I can mix blue and yellow to make green.

    (2) Talking about Clothes

    I like your blue skirt.

    They’re too small for me.

    Your jacket doesn’t go well with your shorts.

    (3) Personal Pronouns:

    I can wear my favourite blouse.
