Step 1 Warmup & Revision
1.活动:看谁反应快。
教师快速出示词卡a class party,have a party,have a rest,go to the theatre,go to the museum等,学生快速认读。
2.活动,找朋友。(给单词找过去式)
教师出示一些动词原形与动词过去式词卡,学生看卡片读单词。教师把动词原形词卡发给读对的学生,让他们拿着卡片去找对应的过去式卡片。复习的单词有have,had,sing,sang,dance,danced,take,took,eat,ate,play,played等。

1.知识引入
教师和学生一起谈论去年的儿童节,询问他们是怎么度过的。引出一些动词的过去式。
T: What did you do last International Children’s Day?
S1: I went to the park.
S2: I sang songs and danced.
S3: We had a party.
...
学生在说的过程中,教师注意及时板书学生所说的词组,特别注意动词的过去式。
T: I played games on that day. I also ate some cakes. What did you eat on that day?
S1: I ate chocolate on that day.
S2: I ate biscuits on that day.
...
(预测:此处注意引导学生说完整的句子:I ate…on that day.)
2.热身阅读
(1)引出邮件
T: Last International Children’s Day, I had a party with my friends. I wore my new dress. My friend gave me a present, and she wished me happy.
此处板书单词wore,gave,wished,并教读。教师随后出示一个礼物盒。
T: Look! This is the present. Please guess, what is it?
S1: It’s a cake.
S2: It’s a new dress.
...
T: Who can help me to open it? OK, you please.
T: Wow! It’s a letter. Let’s read it together.
课件出示一封邮件,内容如下:
Dear Linda,
We had an International Children’s Day party yesterday. We had fun. We played games at the party. We also ate delicious cakes. What did you do on the International Children’s Day?

教师注意引导学生观察总结英文电子邮件的书写格式和技巧。

3.学生自主完成E部分习题。

4.师生共同核对答案。教师对E部分中的生词wore,gave,wished稍作讲解。

1.学生四人一组,一起完成F部分的填空习题,并完成右侧的puzzle部分。
2.检查学生答案。
