2.教师用课件出示the Eiffel Tower,Big Ben,the Great Wall,the Golden Gate Bridge的图片,分别与四个同学谈论这几幅图片。
T: They are beautiful places in the world. Look at the Eiffel Tower. Where is it?
S1: It’s in France.
T: What can you see in the picture?
S1: I can see a big and tall tower.

1.教师拿出自己旅游的照片,介绍旅游见闻,为学生的任务型活动做示范。
T: I like travelling, too.
Look! I have a picture of the Great Wall.
I went to Beijing last summer.
I saw the Great Wall.
I enjoyed walking on the Great Wall.
教师边说边将重点句型板书在黑板上。
I have a picture of...

2.学生拿出自己课前准备好的旅游照片,四人一组,相互传阅照片并分享旅游经历。在学生分享的过程中,教师可以引导学生说“I want to…”,如:
S1: I have a picture of Yangshuo. I went to Guilin last year. I saw Lijiang. It’s very beautiful. I enjoyed taking pictures there.
T: Do you want to go there?
S2: Yes. It’s very nice. I want to travel to Yangshuo, too.
D Let’s Read
1.Prereading
教师出示D部分图片,交代故事背景,和学生一起谈论图片。
T: I’d like to show you a picture. Look at Peter. What does he have?
Ss: He has a picture of the Eiffel Tower.
T: Yes, the Eiffel Tower is big and tall.
T: What does Anne have?
Ss: She has a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge.
T: Yes, it’s a long bridge and it’s over the sea.
出示单词卡,此处教读单词over。
教师画一座桥的简笔画。
T: Here is a bridge, too. It’s not over the sea. It’s over the river. It’s short.
2.Whilereading
(1)学生观看D部分影音,初读短文,并回答问题。
Q: What are they talking about?
(2)学生细读短文,回答问题。
Q1: Who brings back pictures for Peter?
Q2: Where does Peter keep the pictures?
Q3: What does Peter like to do?
Q4: Does Anne like to travel?
Q5: Where did Anne’s family go last year?
Q6: What does Anne show to her friends?
(3)学生齐读短文,回答问题。
Q: Can you tell us about the Golden Gate Bridge?
Ss: It’s a long bridge. It’s red. It’s over the sea. It looks wonderful at night.
板书wonderful,分音节带读单词。
(4)学生找小伙伴共读短文,并完成D部分习题,最后检查答案。
3.Postreading
学生尝试着用句子描述the Golden Gate Bridge。如:It’s in the USA. It’s a long bridge. It’s red. It’s over the sea.
Step 3 Consolidation & Extension
活动:最佳导游。四人一小组,学生利用自带的旅游照片,根据以下提纲介绍旅游景点。如:
S1: This is the…
S2: It’s in…
S3: I can see…
S4: It looks…
根据前面学生介绍的景点,大家投票选出自己想去的旅游景点。
T: Which places of interest do you want to travel to?
S1: I want to travel to…
获票最多的景点将被评为“优秀景点”,介绍该景点的小组成员被评为“最佳导游”。
Step 4 Summing up & Homework
1.小结:师生共同总结本节课的主要内容。
2.作业:①熟读D部分课文;②选择自己喜欢的一个旅游景点,写几句话介绍一下。
