活动：听歌猜名。教师播放几个国家的国歌片段，让学生通过听国歌来猜测其所属国家，并用英语说出国家名称。

New words
(1)travel to London，take pictures，Big Ben
教师展示几幅英国的风景名胜的图片：Big Ben，London Eye，London Bridge。
T: My friends like travelling around the world. They travel to London in the UK. And they take pictures there. Please look at the pictures.
教师板书travel to London，take pictures并带读。出示Big Ben的图片。
T: Look at this picture. It’s very famous. What can you see in the picture?
Ss: I can see a clock.
（猜测：学生可能会直接说a clock，教师要注意引导学生说完整的句子。）
T: Yes, it’s Big Ben.
板书Big Ben并带读。
T: Who can tell us about it?
（猜测：可能有的学生知道，教师可以让学生用中文介绍大本钟的相关情况，然后教师用简单的英语描述。有条件的学校，教师可以通过多媒体课件向学生介绍相关的知识。）
T: It’s a clock. It’s very old. But the clock is still working.
(2)the Eiffel Tower
出示the Eiffel Tower的图片，贴于黑板上。
T: Look at this picture, we can see a tower.
板书tower，并分音节教读。
T: It’s the Eiffel Tower.
补充板书the Eiffel Tower，并带读。
T: Where is it?
Ss: It’s in France.
此处教师可用中文向学生补充介绍the Eiffel Tower的相关知识。
(3)the Golden Gate Bridge
教师出示一张the Golden Gate Bridge的照片。
T: I have a picture of a famous bridge in the USA.
It’s the Golden Gate Bridge.
板书the Golden Gate Bridge并带读。
T: How do you think of the Golden Gate Bridge?
S1: It’s very beautiful.
S2: It’s nice.
T: Yes, it’s over the sea. It’s very beautiful at night.
(4)go to places of interest
T: They are all places of interest in the world.
板书places of interest并带读。
T: I want to go to places of interest.
补充板书go to places of interest.
T: I want to travel to the USA.
I want to see the Golden Gate Bridge.

(5)the Great Wall
T:（出示长城图片）What is it?
Ss: 长城。
T: Yes. It’s the Great Wall. (带读新单词) Last summer I went to Beijing. I saw the Great wall. (板书句型“I went to…”“I saw…”)
学生两两一组，运用上述句型谈论自己的旅游见闻，教师抽几组学生向全班介绍，如：
S1: Where did you go during your holidays?
S2: I went to…

1．Listen and answer
学生听录音，回答问题。
Q: How many places are there in the text? What are they?
2．Read and answer
学生仔细阅读A部分课文，回答问题。

Q4: Where did Mingming go?
3．Read together and think

4．Follow the tape
教师播放A部分录音，学生跟读，模仿正确的语音、语调。

用课件呈现A部分图片，让学生尝试着看图复述此部分的课文。
Step 3 Consolidation & Extension
1．Game：Magic Eyes (火眼金睛)。
教师用课件出示B部分四个世界风景名胜的阴影图，学生猜是什么地方。
2．活动：小小解说员。学生四人一小组，任选课文中的一个风景名胜，进行介绍。如：
S1: Peter went to the Eiffel Tower last year.
S2: It’s in France.
S3: He saw a big and tall tower.
S4: He took pictures of the Eiffel Tower.
All: It’s very beautiful.
Step 4 Summing up & Homework
1．小结：师生共同总结本节课的主要内容。
2．作业：①听录音，朗读A部分课文；②选择B部分四个景点中的任意一个，介绍该景点；③学生准备一些旅游照片，下节课分享。

本课时B部分学习四个风景名胜的短语时，教师要注意结合以前学过的国家名称来加深学生的认知。授课时可以另外呈现一些世界各地的风景名胜图片或知识，开拓学生的视野。教师也可以做一个关于自己去过的某景点的PPT，在本节课开始前或结束时，以报告会的形式向学生介绍自己的旅游见闻，效果会更好。
第二课时

2．学生拿出自己课前准备好的旅游照片，四人一组，相互传阅照片并分享旅游经历。在学生分享的过程中，教师可以引导学生说“I want to…”，如：
S1: I have a picture of Yangshuo. I went to Guilin last year. I saw Lijiang. It’s very beautiful. I enjoyed taking pictures there.
T: Do you want to go there?
S2: Yes. It’s very nice. I want to travel to Yangshuo, too.

1．Prereading
教师出示D部分图片，交代故事背景，和学生一起谈论图片。
T: I’d like to show you a picture. Look at Peter. What does he have?
Ss: He has a picture of the Eiffel Tower.
T: Yes, the Eiffel Tower is big and tall.
T: What does Anne have?
Ss: She has a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge.
T: Yes, it’s a long bridge and it’s over the sea.
出示单词卡，此处教读单词over。
教师画一座桥的简笔画。
T: Here is a bridge, too. It’s not over the sea. It’s over the river. It’s short.
2．Whilereading
(1)学生观看D部分影音，初读短文，并回答问题。

活动：最佳导游。四人一小组，学生利用自带的旅游照片，根据以下提纲介绍旅游景点。如：

根据前面学生介绍的景点，大家投票选出自己想去的旅游景点。

获票最多的景点将被评为“优秀景点”，介绍该景点的小组成员被评为“最佳导游”。

1．小结：师生共同总结本节课的主要内容。
2．作业：①熟读D部分课文；②选择自己喜欢的一个旅游景点，写几句话介绍一下。

2．游戏：What’s missing? 教师用课件展示中国、法国、美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚等国家的国旗图片，首先让学生根据图片说出国家名(T: Can you say the names of the countries?)，然后让课件画面中的国旗消失，让学生抢答说出消失的是哪一个国家的国旗。表现积极者，教师给予小奖励。

1．教师用课件向学生展示四张风景名胜的图片，学生快速说出各风景名胜的名称及所在地。

2．细读歌词，理解含义
教师带领学生读歌词，并学习其中的生词，理解歌词含义。wanderer流浪者、漫游者；along沿着；knapsack背包。
3．跟随歌曲视频，学唱歌曲。
Step 3 Consolidation & Extension
1．教师用课件展示课前准备好的各个省份著名的风景名胜图，如湖南—张家界，海南—天涯海角，云南—丽江，杭州—西湖……学生分小组自选一张图片，介绍景点。如：
Group 1: We have a picture of Xihu. It is in Hangzhou. We can see trees and many boats. We enjoy going boating.
2．为了开拓学生的眼界，教师可介绍我国部分省市的标志性物品。如：
Kunming—flower
Wenzhou—shoes
Hangzhou—silk, tea
Ningbo—sweet dumplings
也可以让学生各抒己见，谈谈自己去过的旅游景点都有哪些好玩的，好吃的。
Step 4 Summing up & Homework
1．小结：师生共同总结本单元所学的重点知识。
2．作业：①背诵A部分课文；②与身边的朋友谈谈你所在的城市或省份的风景名胜。

因为前面两个课时打下的基础比较好，本课时E部分学生完成得不错。F部分的歌曲由于有一些生僻单词，学生学唱起来有一定难度，在进行学唱歌曲之前，教师要注意带读生词，矫正学生的语音和语调。
