3. 拓展B部分地名类词汇restaurant, post office, bank, 要求能听懂、会说、会读。

1. 能绘制简单的城市地图,确定学校和家所在的位置,并准确标注出地标建筑;
2. 能根据所绘制的城市地图,综合运用第二和第三单元所学的词汇和句型介绍交通方式及路线。

培养学生识地图、认地图、讨论地图的能力。

Step 1 Warm-up
1. Sing a song Rabbit dance
T: Stand up, boys and girls. Let’s sing and dance.

2. Sing a song The wheels on the bus
T: Boys and girls, do you remember the song The wheels on the bus?
S: Yes, I do.
T: Look, I’m the bus driver. Team 1,you’re my passengers. I need you to stand in a row, touch the shoulders of your classmate before you, and then, sing and run. When we stop, the one in front of us should join us. Understand?
S: Yes!
(教师做公交车司机,请一小组同学以小火车的队形双手搭在前一位同学的肩上站好,边唱边在教室中前进,歌曲唱完时,队伍面前的一位同学需加入进来继续唱歌。可以唱2遍。)

Step 2 Review Unit 2
1. Make a conversation
T: Oh, you did a good job! What a lovely song! I like taking a bus. Buses are big and bright. Bus-taking is very cheap and convenient. Do you come to school by bus?
S: Yes. / No.
T: How about our friends? Who comes to school by bus? Do you remember?
S: Su Hai and Su Yang.
T: Good, and how about others? Where do they live? How do they come to school? Here’s a map for you. Please ask and answer in pairs. (PPT呈现提示句型:

2. Talk about our friends
T: Now, boys and girls. Let’s look at this map again. This is our friends’ school. Can you talk about their family addresses and how they come to school? You can ask any of your classmates.

Step 3 Learning time ( Part A)
1. Show a sample
T: OK. Liu Tao comes to school by taxi, so I guess he lives far from school. I live far from school too. I’ll show you my map. Look, this is our school. Where is our school?
S: It’s on … Street.
T: Right, and my home is so far away. You can ask me. (PPT提示学生提问)
S1: Where do you live?
T: I live on … Street.
S2: How do you come to work?
T: I come to work by car.
2. Draw a map
T: This time, please open your books. Turn to Page 99. You can draw a map of your city on it. Don’t forget to mark your homes and school on the map.

3. Work in groups
T: OK, it’s time to share your information. First, you can talk in groups. Ask your classmates where he or she lives, and how he or she comes to school. Then, come here and show us.
