    There are many different kinds f disasters arund the wrld. As an adult yu knw what t d during a disaster, but what abut the children? Sme adults think it wuld prbably never happen t them, s they dn’t teach their children what t d. Befre it’s t late, here are ways t help yu prepare yur child fr a disaster:
    Educate: It is always gd t let yur child knw abut pssible disasters. This desn’t mean children have t live in fear. When teaching them abut disasters, keep the cnversatin psitive(积极的)by telling them there is a slutin(解决办法)t the disaster. Keep the cnversatins shrt, allw fr questins and answer hnestly.
    Prepare: Always be prepared, that is the best advice fr children. Fr example, when preparing fr bad weather, get the tls yu need, like candles, radis, fd, water and medicine. Teach yur child what is needed in certain disasters s that they knw what is available fr them, if ever needed.
    Plan: Yu shuld always have a plan fr yu and yur child fr any dangerus situatin. Write ut a simple list that they can read. The plan culd start with “listen t an adult’s advice and/r call 119”.
    Practice: Once yu have gt the crrect safety tls and wrked ut the right plan, practice every few mnths. Practicing what t d during a disaster with yur child will help them if the time cmes.
    Disasters can’t be avided but they can be lessened(减轻)nce yu are prepared and ready fr ne.
