    althugh和thugh引导的 让步状语从句
    althugh和thugh都是从属连词,引导让步状语从句,意为:虽然、尽管。让步状语从句表示即便出现从句屮的情況,主句动作仍然会发生,有“退ー步说……”的意思。
    I will try it, althugh I may fail.即使我可能失败,我也要试ー下。Thugh he did nt have much mney, he was still happy.虽然他不富有,但他很快乐。Althugh/thugh it was nly eight ’clck, there were few peple in the streets. 虽然才八点钟,街上就没什么人了。
    thugh 和althugh的区别
    thugh 连词 cnj. 意为:虽然;尽管, 副词adv. 意为: 不过,然而althugh 连词 cnj.意为:虽然,尽管
    两词同义并可换用,但althugh语气较重,通常放在句首并用于正式场合。如: I'd quite like t g ut, althugh/ thugh it is a bit late. 我很想外出,虽然为时稍晚。
    2. 当让步状语从句指某种假设情况,通 常用thugh,而不用althugh。如: Let's start as arranged thugh it rains tmrrw. 即使明天下雨,咱们也按预定的计 划出发吧。(假设)
    3. thugh 可用于even thugh, as thugh 等结构,althugh则不能。如:Even thugh I fail, I'll keep n trying. 我纵然失败,仍会继续尝试下去。 Yu lk as thugh yu knw each ther. 看起来你们好像彼此认识。
    4. althugh 和 thugh 用作连词时不能 和but连用,但可跟yet, still 等连用。如:Althugh he lives alne,but he is happy. ( ) Althugh he lives alne, yet he is happy. ( ) = He lives alne, but he is happy. 他虽然单独生活,但很愉快。

    Using s ... that and such ... that
    We use s ... that r such ... that t emphasize the qualities r characteristics f smebdy r smething and shw the result f it.

    The actress wrked s hard that she did nt have a day ff last year.
    We use an adjective r an adverb between s and that.
    Millie is such a gd stryteller that she culd write exciting scripts.
    We use a nun phrase between such and that.

    1. s…that引导结果状语从句 s …that句型中的s是副词,常用来 修饰形容词或副词,常用句型为:主语 + 谓语动词 +s +adv./adj.+that从句如:The by ran s fast that I culdn’t catch him. 那个男孩跑的如此快以至 于我追不上他。
    s …that 与such… that
    2. such …that…作“如此…以致于…” 解,连接一个表示结果的状语从句。 与s…that  意思相同,但用法不同。如:s…that这一结构中,s后边可加形容词或副词,  而such后边要用名词(这个名词前面可以带形容词,也可以不带)。
    such+a(an)+adj.+单数可数名词+that… He is such a clever by that everybdy likes him.2) such+adj.+不可数名词+ that… He has made such great prgress that the teachers are pleased with him3)such+adj.+复数名词+that… They are such interesting nvels that I want t read them nce again.
    如果名词前由表示量的many, much, few, little等词所修饰的 话,则不用such而用s 。如:He had s many falls that he was black and blue all ver. 他摔了很多跤,以致于全身上下青一 块,紫一块的。 He had s little educatin that he was unfit fr this jb. 他所受教育很少,不适合做这个工作。
