    althugh和thugh都是从属连词,引导让步状语从句,意为:虽然、尽管。让步状语从句表示即便出现从句屮的情況,主句动作仍然会发生,“退ー步说……”的意思。
    althugh和thugh引导的让步状语从句
    thugh 和althugh的区别
    thugh 连词 cnj. 意为:虽然;尽管, 副词 adv. 意为: 不过,然而althugh 连词 cnj.意为:虽然,尽管
    两词同义并可换用,但althugh语气较重,通常放在句首并用于正式场合。I'd quite like t g ut, althugh/ thugh it is a bit late. 我很想外出,虽然为时稍晚。
    2. 当让步状语从句指某种假设情况,通常用thugh,而不用althugh。Let's start as arranged thugh it rains tmrrw. 即使明天下雨,咱们也按预定的计划出发吧。

    s …that 与such… that
    1. s…that引导结果状语从句 s …that句型中的s是副词,常用来修饰形容词或副词,常用句型为:主语 + 谓语动词 +s +adv./adj.+that从句The by ran s fast that I culdn’t catch him. 那个男孩跑的如此快以至于我追不上他。
    2. such …that…作“如此…以致于…” 解,连接一个表示结果的状语从句。与s…that  意思相同,但用法不同。s…that这一结构中,s后边可加形容词或副词,  而such后边要用名词(这个名词前面可以带形容词,也可以不带)。
    such+a(an)+adj.+单数可数名词+that… He is such a clever by that everybdy likes him.2) such+adj.+不可数名词+ that… He has made such great prgress that the teachers are pleased with him.3)such+adj.+复数名词+that… They are such interesting nvels that I want t read.

    如果名词前由表示量的many, much, few, little等词所修饰的话,则不用such而用s 。

    s that引导目的状语从句
