6.初步了解一个月份中日期的表达方式。让学生能自己总结出序数词表达的基本规律。

Step 1:Warm-up

1.Greetings.

2.Ask and answer.

Step 2:Presentation

1.学习Let’s learn.

(1)出示Let’s learn主情景图，教师说There are some birthdays. Whose birthdays are they? 教师继续提问When is Wu Yifan’s dad’s / mum’s / grandpa’s / grandma’s birthday? When is Wu Yifan’s birthday? 学生回答。

(2) 词汇教学。逐个教授新词12th，20th，30th，23th，21st.在教授新词时，教师要特别强调简写和基数词的写法。

(3)教师播放Let’s learn的录音，学生跟读。

(4)讲解序数词及其简写形式。

2.学习Look and write.

出示此部分日历表，请学生观察，并利用句型“When is……；It's on……”进行操练。

Step 3:Consolidation and extension

Make a survey.

引导学生组成8个小组，调查组内成员的生日，看哪一组同一月过生日的人数多，则获胜。

Step 4: Summary

总结 ：教师引导学生总结本课所学的词汇，鼓励学生提出问题。

Step 5:Homework

1.完成twelfth(12th)—thirtieth(30th)在四线三格上的写法。

2.收集更多序数词。

本课时主要学习“12、20、30、23、21”五个数字的序数词以及如何询问他人的生日日期以及回答自己生日所在的具体日期。序数词的学习要求学生能自主发现变化规律，教师点拨并补充总结从1到99序数词的变化规律，同时要着重强调特殊的变化情况。
