2. 重点句型:

(2) It was sitting in a tree and smiling at everyne.
(3) They were having a tea party in the garden.
(4) Where was it ging?
3. 能够正确使用过去进行时。

重点:1. 能掌握本模块的词汇和句式;
2. 能够掌握过去进行时的构成及用法。
难点:过去进行时的运用。

Step 1 Warming-up
Retell the passage
Wrk in grups. Retell the stry in Unit 2 accrding t pictures.
【设计意图】通过复述课文回顾上节课所学的知识,并能很好地调动学生的积极性,活跃课堂气氛。
Step 2 Presentatin
Language practice
Read the sentences individually, and pay attentin t the part in blue in the sentences.
【设计意图】让学生自己观察句子,找出规律,更利于学生对知识的学习和掌握。

Read thrugh the sentences, and underline the crrect wrds.

Activity 2
1. Tell Ss t read thrugh the first parts f the sentences and cmplete the sentences.
2. Ask Ss t check their answers in pairs and then think f questins fr each sentence.
3. Elicit answers by asking sme pairs t ask and answer.
【设计意图】继续操练过去进行时,要求学生能够正确写出过去进行时的句子。

Activity 4
1. Ask Ss t wrk in grups and ask their grup members what they were ding at eight ’clck last night. While asking, make ntes.
2. Have Ss write dwn full sentences accrding t the ntes they made.
3. Elicit full sentences frm the whle class.
【设计意图】要求学生将口头练习落实到笔头操练,进一步帮助学生巩固过去进行时的用法。
Activity 5
1. Ask Ss t read the expressins in the bx and check their meanings.
2. Tell Ss t read the sentences and cmplete the sentences with the crrect frm f the expressins in the bx.
3. Elicit the answers in full sentences.
【设计意图】考查学生对方框中的词汇掌握情况。
Activity 6
Read the wrds in the bx and the passage first, then cmplete the passage with the wrds in the bx.
【设计意图】不仅考查学生对单词用法的掌握情况,还考查学生对故事内容的理解。
Activity 7
1. Ss wrk in pairs t read thrugh the sentences and guess what types f wrds need t fill in the blanks.
2. Play the recding and ask Ss t cmplete the sentences individually.
3. Play the recding again and check the answers as a class.
【设计意图】练习学生的听力能力,让学生学会听前预测,以便在听时迅速找到关键信息,锁定答案。
