此句为一般过去时态。一般过去时的定义：表示过去某个时间所发生的动作或存在的状态，谓语动词用一般过去式。
（1）肯定句： 主语 + 动词过去式+ 其他。 例如：我上周末去爬山了。 I went t climb the muntain last weekend. （2）否定句： 主语 + didn’t + 动词原形 + 其他。 例如 ：我昨天没有去上学。 I didn’t g t schl yesterday.
拓展：含有实义动词的句式
（3）一般疑问句： Did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他？ 例如：你昨天去学校吗？ Did yu g t schl yesterday? （4）肯定回答： Yes, 主语+ did.（5）否定回答： N, 主语+ didn’t.
（6）特殊疑问句： 特殊疑问词 + did + 主语 + 动词原形 + 其他？ 例如：昨天你什么时候去的学校？ When did yu g t schl yesterday?
2. N ne wanted t be last. 没有人想成为最后一名。
want 表示“想，想要”。常用的句型结构：want t d sth. 想要做某事同义短语：wuld like t d sth.例句：我想买一件新连衣裙。 I want t buy a new dress.
3. Wh was first？谁是第一名？
这是询问谁获得名次的句型。句型结构：Wh + be动词（was/were）+序数词? 答句：主语+ was/ were +序数词 例句：谁是第二名？ 他是第二名。
