Immigrants ften bring with them different ideas, fd, music, languages, and manners when they mve t a new culture. In Canada, fr example, the gvernment has a plicy f multiculturalism where immigrants are encuraged t share their backgrund cultures with Canadians while adpting and accepting Canadian culture.
Cultural change can ccur due t larger events. Fr example, ecnmic depressin, war, and disaster can endanger scieties, which must adapt t these challenges and events. Because f these changes in sciety, ideas and ways f life als affect the entire culture. Fr example, during Wrld War Ⅱ, many American men were sent far ff t fight. Cnsequently, wmen suddenly needed t wrk in the factries. As a result f this change, it is n lnger culturally acceptable t believe that they shuld nt have the right t wrk.
