2021届人教版中考英语模块复习(二十三)中考题型综合练习(二)专项一:六选五Life comes in a package. This package includes happiness and sadness, failure and success, hope and despair.  1  Experiences in life teach us new lessons and make us a better person. With each passing day we learn to deal with various situations.Love plays a main role in our life. Love makes you feel wanted. Without love a person could become cruel. In the early stage of our life, our parents are the ones who show us with love and care. They teach us about what is right and wrong, good and bad.  2  It is only after marriage and having kids that a person understands others' feelings.                            Happiness can bring people a peaceful mind. No mind is happy without peace. Sadness is the cause of the death of a loved one or the failure. But all of these things will pass away.  3   It helps us to touch the sky, teaches us to survive and shows us a specific way. Success brings in money, pride and self-respect.Hope is what keeps life going. Parents always hope their children will do well. Hope makes us dream. Hope builds in patience.   4  Life teaches us not to regret over yesterday, for it has passed and is out of our control. Tomorrow is unknown for it could either be bright or dark. 5   , so that we will enjoy a better tomorrow.A. Failure is the path to success.B. But we don't always care about it.C. Life teaches us not to despair even in the darkest hour, because after every night there is a day.D. Life is a learning process.E. You will have many chances.F.So the only choice is to work hard today专项二:阅读表达专项Airbnb, the American flat rental (租赁) company, announced its Chinese name last month. It is “Aibiying (爱彼迎)”, meaning “to welcome each other with love”.The name has been met withlaughter in China, although it means something good. This Chinese name is just hard to pronounce and sounds strange! It's not easy for companies to come up with a good brand (品牌)name. But it's even more difficult to translate it into Chinese. “Foreign companies have to understand there is meaningin Chinese characters. It's not like English where you can take letters andmix them together to make different sounds,” Tait Lawton from Nanjing Marketing Group said. “The wrong name will just give the wrong impression.”But some brands have done great jobs. Coca-Cola is a good example. Its Chinese name “kekou kele (可口可乐) ” means “delicious fun” and stays true to the original English. On top of that, part of the name sounds like the Chinese word for “thirsty”.Britishbank HSBC also came up with a clever one, “hui feng (汇丰)”, it has a good Chinese meaning and sounds like every other local bank, insteadof an international big company, according to Vladimir Djurovic from a company that helps brand foreign companies in China. “There is no absolute (绝对的) rule (when choosing a good Chinese name). Theright name will always depend on a couple of things,” he said.1. Why don’t people like the Chinese name of Aibiying?2. According to Tait Lawton, which is more difficult, come up with an English brand name or translate it into Chinese?3. What’s the difference between Chinese characters and English letters?4. The writer gives two examples of good Chinese name in the passage, what are they?5. Please list at least two possible rules when choosing a good Chinese name.专项三:完型填空Tina Lin was not like many of her classmates. She didnt listen to popular music. You meet them every day on the sidewalk. They walk slowly, with their heads down and they will not look at you. They are living in a different world, a world of the mobile phone! Many people are complaining(抱怨) about these mobile phone zombies because they walk slowly, making it difficult for other people to use the sidewalk. Chongqing and a few other cities have come up with an idea to try to solve the problem. Theyve divided up sidewalks into lanes(线路):one lane for mobile-zombies and one lane for everyone else. The experiment hasnt worked out too well, since most mobile-zombies dont even notice the lanes.I have another suggestion for the problem. In Shanghai, we have blind paths. They are made of small raised tiles(凸起的瓷砖)that help blind people follow a straight line. Perhaps the same way could be used for mobile-zombies. A lane with a rough surface would allow people to concentrate on their mobile phones and still know they are walking in a straight line. Of course, I have a further suggestion. At the end of the lane would be a large hole where all the mobile-zombies would disappear into the center of the earth!Well, I dont think my suggestion is going to be taken, but I dont think special lanes for mobile-zombies will work, either. I think its just a better idea to remind(提醒) people that sidewalks are shared space and they should think of others when they are using their mobile phones.1. According to the passage, who are mobile phone zombies?A. The people who always look here and there on the road.B. The people who always play with mobile phones on the road.C. The people who hate using mobile phones when they are walking on the road.2. Why has not the lane for mobile-zombies in Chongqing worked out well? A. Because it is too expensive to walk on the lanes.B. Because there are so few lanes in Chongqing.C. Because few mobile-zombies notice the lanes in fact.3. The underlined word rough in Paragraph 3 means ______ in Chinese. A. 粗糙的    B. 光滑的    C. 漂亮的4. Which of the following is TRUE according to the passageA. Shanghai has also built lanes for the mobile-zombies.B. The writers suggestion for the mobile-zombies was taken.C. Mobile-zombies should think of others on the road.5.
