【教学准备】
教具学具、教师及学生的家庭照片、单词卡、教材相配套的教学录音带、课件。
【教学过程】
Step 1.Warm-up/Revision
1.教师让学生拿着自己的家庭照,通过实物投影展示给大家,指着其中的人物,运用以下句型做介绍:
(1)He's my father.
(2)She's my mother.
2.让学生两人一组面对面站着,举起自己的家人照片做问答练习:
(1)Who's that man?
(2)Who's that woman?
Step 2.Presentation
1.教师出示Emma图片,并把图片贴到黑板上,与学生进行问答互动。
老师:Who's this girl?
学生:She's Emma.
2.教师分别出示father, mother的图片。
提问学生:
(1)Who's that man?
(2)Who's that woman?
引导学生说出:
(1)He's Emma's father.
(2)She's Emma's mother.
并把图片贴到黑板上。
3.出示单词卡,让学生认读:family, father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, man, woman.
4.教师:There are 4 people in Emma's family, do you know who are they?
可先让学生猜,再出示图片教读单词:grandfather, grandmother, brother, sister.
把图片贴到黑板上,形成family tree.
5.教师出示单词卡,让学生先试着把单词grandfather, grandmother, brother, sister贴到相应的图片下,再教读单词。
Step 3.Practice
1.Ask students to practice the dialogues in pairs.
2.Play the tape and ask the students complete the listening exercises from "2a" to "2c" in turn.
3.Ask students to do the rest of the exercises and check the answers.
4.Play the tape and ask the students to finish the exercises in part 4 in group work.
Step 4.Summary
学生自我总结今天上课所学内容。

3.朗读课文。
