      A large earthquake hit Hebei prvince in nrthern China n 10th January 1998. The earthquake was very pwerful. It measured 6.2 n the Richter scale. Fifty peple died in the earthquake, and thusands mre were injured r made hmeless. Over 100,000 huses were destryed r damaged.
