      1. Why des Li Dng use the sentences f direct speech? He uses direct speech t directly present the wrds spken by the characters, which makes the stry mre vivid and real, allwing readers t feel the emtins f the characters mre directly.2. Hw des he use reprting verbs? The reprting verb “asked” is used t intrduce a questin. It indicates that the fllwing wrds are a questin asked by the visitr. The reprting verb “said” is used t intrduce the statements made by the by. It simply shws that the fllwing wrds are the by’s wrds. In this case, “said” is a very cmmn and neutral (中性的) reprting verb, suitable fr presenting simple statements.
