      As I wandered in the Natinal Gallery, I was amazed t see all the paintings. I wndered at the skill f the artists, their use f clur and hw they played with light and shade. I bserved the brushwrk they used t enhance their wrks. I enjyed the whle experience—t be able t bathe my senses in this palace f human creativity. It was surprising then t see s many peple viewing imprtant and precius artwrks thrugh their smartphnes. It might sund shcking, but they seemed mre interested in taking phts and recrding vides f artwrks than appreciating them with their wn eyes.
      Hw was it pssible, I wndered, t truly appreciate the human tuch f a great painting when it was reduced t a few millin pixels? Lking at artwrks thrugh smartphnes, I thught, was like trying t appreciate the cuntryside withut being able t hear the birds sing, feel the breeze against my face r smell the flwers. Mving slwly thrugh the Natinal Gallery, I was determined t keep my smartphne in my bag and appreciate each individual painting with the best camera in the wrld: my wn eyes.
