In recent years, the wrld has witnessed a remarkable surge in the develpment f envirnmental-friendly technlgies. These innvative slutins are crucial in ur fight against climate change and the degradatin f ur planet. One such example is the rise f slar-pwered vehicles.
Slar-pwered vehicles harness the sun’s energy, cnverting it int electricity t pwer the vehicle’s engine. This technlgy has cme a lng way frm its humble beginnings. Initially, slar-pwered cars were mre f an experimental cncept, with limited speed and range. Hwever, cntinuus research and develpment have led t significant imprvements. Scientists and engineers have been wrking n enhancing the efficiency f slar panels, allwing them t capture mre sunlight and generate mre pwer. They’ve als been fcusing n ptimizing the energy- strage systems in these vehicles, ensuring a mre stable and lng-lasting pwer supply.
Anther area f prgress is in waste-t-energy cnversin. With the ever-increasing amunt f waste generated glbally, finding sustainable ways t manage it has becme a pressing issue. Waste-t-energy plants use varius methds t cnvert waste materials, such as bimass and municipal slid waste, int usable energy, like electricity r heat. This nt nly helps in reducing the vlume f waste in landfills but als prvides an alternative surce f energy. The prcess invlves technlgies like incineratin with energy recvery, anaerbic digestin, and gasificatin. Each methd has its wn set f advantages and challenges, but all cntribute t the verall gal f a mre sustainable future.
These envirnmental-friendly technlgies teach us an imprtant lessn. The pursuit f slutins t glbal prblems requires cntinuus effrt and innvatin. In tday’s digital age, the way we read has undergne a prfund transfrmatin. E-bks and digital reading devices have becme increasingly ppular, leading many t questin the future f traditinal printed bks. While digital reading ffers undeniable cnvenience, there are cmpelling reasns t believe that printed bks will nt nly survive but als cntinue t play a significant rle in ur reading lives.

A.Because they are mre accustmed t reading printed materials.
B.Due t the physical markers in printed bks helping with mental mapping.
C.As printed bks prvide a mre immersive reading envirnment.
D.Since readers f printed bks have better memry abilities.
33.What des the authr think f the aesthetic appeal f printed bks?

B.Bkstres and libraries are the nly places fr peple t share their lve f reading.
C.Printed bks play a passive rle in creating a sense f cmmunity.
D.The scial interactin arund printed bks can’t be achieved thrugh digital reading.
35.What is the main idea f the passage?
A.Printed bks have unique advantages and will nt disappear.
B.Printed bks are facing fierce cmpetitin frm e-bks.
C.Digital reading is becming mre and mre ppular.

In ur daily lives, we are cnstantly bmbarded with varius chices. Frm the clthes we wear in the mrning t the career paths we decide t pursue, chices shape ur lives. 36
      The Pwer f Decisin-Making
Making decisins might seem like a simple task, but it hlds great pwer. 37 A small decisin like chsing t read a bk instead f watching TV can gradually expand yur knwledge. On a larger scale, career chices can determine the curse f yur life. When I was chsing a majr in cllege, I had t carefully cnsider my interests and future prspects. This decisin led me t a field that I’m passinate abut and has pened up many pprtunities fr me.
      The Weight f Cnsequences
Every chice cmes with cnsequences, whether gd r bad. 38 It’s crucial t be aware f these cnsequences befre making a decisin. Fr instance, if yu chse t skip exercise regularly, the cnsequence might be a decline in yur physical health ver time. Hwever, if yu decide t invest time in learning a new language, yu’ll gain the ability t cmmunicate with mre peple and pen drs t new cultures.
