      I. Cre Cmpetence Objectives
      Students will be able t listen, crrectly read and use basic greetings like "Hell!", "Hi!", "Gd mrning!" and the self - intrductin sentence pattern "I'm...". They shuld be able t use them with accurate prnunciatin and intnatin in daily cmmunicatin situatins.
      Identify and crrectly write the key wrds in 1a, such as "hell", "hi", "gd", "mrning", "hw", "are", mastering their spellings and basic meanings.
      II. Teaching Key and Difficult Pints
      Key vcabulary and sentence pattern learning: Ensure that students firmly master the usage f wrds like "hell", "hi", "gd", "mrning", "hw", "are" and related greeting and self - intrductin sentence patterns.
      Listening skills training: Thrugh the listening practice in 1b, let students get familiar with the prnunciatin and intnatin f English in daily cmmunicatin, and be able t accurately btain key infrmatin and imitate and read alud.
      Oral expressin practice: Create rich situatins t enable students t be brave enugh t speak, skillfully use what they have learned t greet and intrduce themselves, and imprve their ral expressin ability.
      III. Teaching and Learning Methds
      Situatinal teaching methd: Create real - life situatins such as the first day f schl n campus r an internatinal exchange activity, integrate the teaching cntent int them, and let students feel, understand and use English in the situatins.
      Task - driven methd: Arrange varius tasks such as picture predictin, dialgue jigsaw puzzles, and rle - playing, clarify the task bjectives, and guide students t master knwledge and skills in the prcess f cmpleting tasks.
      IV. Classrm Recrd
      (一)Warming-up(5 分钟)
      T(Teacher): Gd mrning, bys and girls! Welcme t ur first English class. T start with, let's sing a sng tgether. Here cmes the "Hell Sng".
      (Teacher plays the sng n the multimedia, and the students sing and dance alng with the music.)
      T: Wnderful! We all knw “Hell” is a cmmn greeting. Nw, think abut it. What ther English wrds can we use t say hell t thers? Any ideas? Hands up, please.
      S1(Student 1): Hi!
      T: Great! “Hi” is very infrmal and easy t remember. What else?
      S2: Gd mrning!
      T: Exactly! And we use “Gd mrning” when it's in the mrning. Very gd. These are all useful greetings. Tday, we'll learn mre abut them in ur new lessn.
      (二)Presentatin(15 分钟)
      T: Nw, lk at the screen. I'll shw yu sme pictures quickly. Try t bserve carefully and guess what they are talking abut. (Teacher flashes the three grups f pictures in 1a quickly, each fr 3 secnds.)
      T: OK, time's up. Let's share yur ideas in grups. Discuss with yur grup members and tell me what yu think.
      (Students start t discuss in grups.)
      T: Time's ver. Which grup wants t share first? Grup 1, please.
      G1(Grup 1): In the first picture, we think tw bys are greeting each ther. Maybe they are new friends.
      T: Gd guess. And what abut the secnd picture? Grup 3.
      G3: We guess a girl is intrducing herself t a by.
      T: Very gd. Nw, let's take a clser lk at these pictures. (Teacher shws the pictures again with the dialgue bubbles.) This is “Hell!”, “Hi!”, and “I'm...”. These are ur key sentences tday. Let's read them tgether.
      (Teacher leads the students t read the sentences several times.)
      T: Next, let's learn sme new wrds. Lk at the screen. Here are the wrds frm the dialgues. (Teacher shws the wrds “hell, hi, gd, mrning, hw, are” n the multimedia.) Watch my muth carefully. /həˈləʊ/, this is “hell”. Pay attentin t the prnunciatin f “h”, it's a viceless sund. Let's read it tgether.
      (Teacher teaches the prnunciatin f each wrd ne by ne, and students imitate.)
      T: Nw, let's play a game called “Vcabulary Actin”. I'll say a wrd, and yu use yur bdy t make the shape f the letters. Fr example, if I say “h”, yu make the shape f “h” with yur bdy. Are yu ready?
      Ss(Students): Yes!
      (Teacher says the wrds, and students actively make the crrespnding letter shapes.)
      (三)Listening(10 分钟)
      T: Nw, it's time fr listening. Listen carefully. Tw students are talking. Try t find ut hw they greet each ther. (Teacher plays the 1b dialgue recrding fr the first time.)
      T: OK, what did yu hear? Wh can tell me sme key wrds? S4.
      S4: I heard “hell” and “name”.
      T: Gd. Anyne else? S5.
      S5: I heard “I'm”.
      T: Right. Nw, listen again. This time, I'll give yu sme sentence strips with parts f the dialgue. Try t put them in the right rder. Wrk in yur grups. (Teacher distributes the sentence strips and plays the recrding again.)
      (Students listen carefully and start t put the sentence strips in rder in grups.)
      T: Time's up. Let's check the answers. Grup 2, shw us yur result.
      (Grup 2 shws their arranged dialgue strips.)
      T: Well dne. Let's read the cmplete dialgue tgether. Pay attentin t the intnatin. (Teacher pints t the dialgue and leads the students t read it, emphasizing the intnatin f “Hw are yu?” with a rising tne at the end.)
      (四)Practice(10 分钟)
      T: Nw, let's imitate the dialgue. Listen t the recrding again and repeat sentence by sentence. Try t imitate the prnunciatin and intnatin as clsely as pssible. (Teacher plays the recrding, and students listen and repeat.)
      T: Next, wrk in pairs. Practice the dialgue. Yu can use yur wn names. I'll walk arund and listen. (Students start t practice the dialgue in pairs, and the teacher walks arund the classrm, listening and giving guidance.)
      T: Stp here. Which pair wants t cme t the frnt and shw us yur dialgue? S6 and S7, please.
      (S6 and S7 cme t the frnt and perfrm the dialgue.)
      T: Very gd. Yur prnunciatin is clear, and yu use the sentences crrectly. Let's give them a big hand. Nw, change yur partners and practice again. This time, yu can add sme actins t make it mre vivid.
      (五)Prductin(5 分钟)
      T: Nw, let's d a mre challenging task. Suppse we are at an internatinal party. Yu will meet many new friends. Walk arund the classrm, greet each ther, and intrduce yurself. Try t use what we've learned tday. And yu can als add sme ther infrmatin abut yurself, like yur hbbies. Here are sme rle cards fr yu. Yu can chse ne and act as that rle. (Teacher distributes the rle cards.)
      (Students start t walk arund, greet each ther, and intrduce themselves.)
      T: Time's up. Let's share yur experiences. S8, wh did yu meet and what did yu talk abut?
      S8: I met S9. He is frm America. I said “Hell! I'm S8. Nice t meet yu.” He said “Hi! Nice t meet yu t.” Then I tld him I like playing basketball.
      T: Great! It seems yu can use the sentences in real situatins. Tday, we've learned many useful greetings and hw t intrduce urselves. Remember t use them in yur daily life.
