The Amazing Discvery f Plant Cmmunicatin
A recent study frm the Chinese Academy f Sciences(中科院) has fund a wnderful secret f the natural wrld; trees in a frest can actually "talk" t each ther and wrk tgether t help each ther stay healthy and grw. This discvery is changing ur understanding f frests, shwing they are far mre than just many trees grwing in ne place.
The study explains that trees are cnnected by a special web under the grund. This web is made f their rts and a kind f fungi(真菌), which acts like a natural internet, ften called the "Wd Wide Web". When a tree is attacked by insects r is shrt f water, it desn't stay in silence. Instead, it sends ut special messages t tell ther trees abut the danger thrugh this web. tree matters in a frest, just as every persn matters in ur sciety. " This finding reminds us that we are part f an intercnnected wrld, and ur future depends n learning frm the wisdm f nature.
13. Hw d trees mainly "talk" t each ther accrding t the study?
A. By sending messages thrugh the air.
B. By changing the clr f their leaves.
C. Thrugh their rts and a special web under the grund.
D. By wind and air.
14. What d "mther trees" d t help yunger trees?
A. Give them mre sunlight.B. Share nutrients thrugh their rts.
C. Prtect them frm strng winds.D. Help them fight the insects.
15. What des Dr. Wang mainly want t tell us?
A. Cutting dwn trees is imprtant fr making cities bigger.
B. Humans shuld learn frm trees and wrk tgether.
C. Older peple are always wiser than yung peple.
