T:Lk at this time line.It shws events frm the beginning f this year t nw.(The teacher places event cards n time line:start f schl,hlidays,exams,etc.)
T:Let's describe these events using the present perfect tense.Fr example,“We have had tw exams this semester.”(Students take turns adding sentences t the time line.)

Already:I have already read…(usually in affirmative)
Yet:Have yu read…yet?(usually in questin/negative)
