China launched its Wentian space labratry n Sunday, July 24,2022, which is the cuntry’s largest spacecraft in histry. It becmes part f the Tiangng space statin.
Appearance
Wentian labratry mdule (问天实验舱) has the fllwing parts: wrking cabin, airlck cabin and service mdule. With a length f 17.9 meters and a takeff weight f 23 tns, the diameter is 4.2 m. The height is almst like a six-flr building and the weight is f ten cars.
Lab Equipment Outside
In the lab, we have sme special tls called auxiliary rbtic arms (辅助机械臂). These arms are 5 meters lng and they are very small and accurate. They help us t pick up small and medium-sized machines fr ding very careful jbs.
These “small arms” can als be cnnected with the “big arm” frm the main part f ur statin. When they are cnnected, they make a 15-meter super lng arm. This lng arm helps us d mre wrk utside the main part f ur statin. It can mve between the three parts f ur space statin, which are Tianhe, Tianwen, and Mengtian.
Energy supply
