Blue light blcking glasses have been ppular ver the past few years with the idea that they prtect ur eyes frm the use f screens. But a new study shws they might nt be as gd fr ur eye health as expected.
Researchers analyzed (分析) the infrmatin frm 17 tests and reprted the results. They fund that the glasses filtering (过滤) ut blue light n the market prbably make n difference t eye strain (眼疲劳) r sleep quality.
“We fund there may be n shrt-term advantages in using blue light filtering lenses (镜片) t reduce eye strain that is cnnected with cmputer use,” said Laura Dwnie, a main member f the study. “It is als unclear whether these lenses affect visin quality and sleep-related results, and n cnclusins culd be drawn abut any pssible effects n retinal (视网膜) health in the lnger term,” she added. “Peple shuld understand these findings when deciding whether t get these glasses.”
