Activity 1. Get t knw the prject
1.Watch a vide f the Chairman f Students Unin and find ut what she says.
2.Lead them t find ut what makes a gd club plan, which culd be divided int tw parts:①What are the main parts f a club plan?②What makes a club plan attractive?
Accrding t students’ reactin, estimate if students can understand the prject.
Teaching purpse:
Warm up the class thrugh watching a vide and make the learning bjective clear.
1.Make sure the main factrs f a club plan and find ut hw t make gd plans by reading the utline.
Lead students t think abut the benefits f hbbies and jining clubs thrugh reviewing what they learnt in the earlier class.
3.Review the activities mentined in the passage and practise the usage f “there be” structure.
4.Enable students t understand hw t design a reasnable activity.
Activity 2. Read fr structure
Read the utline and find ut the main parts f a club plan, which are intrductin, bdy (benefits and activities) and cnclusin.
Activity 3. Read and review
1.Lead students t review “What hbby grups are there in this unit?” and “What clubs can they jin?”
Lead students t knw “Think f a name accrding t hbbies.”
2.Lead students t think abut “What can we get frm hbbies?”
After students answer the questin, lead students t make a cnclusin: “ I like ... best because I can get knwledge/it can give us fun/it can help us keep healthy”, which are the benefits f jining clubs and hbbies.
3.Lead students t think abut “What activities are mentined in a club?”
Lead them t read an example frm Happy Dancers. Shw the activities frm happy dancers and make a cnclusin “ Use there be t describe activities.”
Lead them t practise “there be” structure thrugh answering a questin “What activities are there in these clubs?”
4.Shw a questinnaire and cntinue t
lead students t find ut “Which plan d yu like better?”
Lead students t find ut the differences f tw activities.
Lead them t listen t answers frm students and make a cnclusin. Students like mre than ne clrful activity.
Lead them t pay attentin t the result frm the questinnaire, which helps them t pay attentin t the frequency f the activities.
Lead them t find ut hw t make the club plans mre attractive by cmparing the tw club plans, using different clrs r attractive clrs...
Observe Ss’ reactin and estimate if students culd understand the main parts f a club plan.
