Thrugh vivid stries and relatable dialgues, it shwcases the essential rle f hbbies in persnal grwth, emtinal cmmunicatin, and cultural understanding.
    II. Analysis f Students' Learning Situatin
    Seventh-grade students are at a crucial stage f English learning. They are curius and eager t explre new things, but their vcabulary is limited, and their grasp f grammar is nt yet slid. They desire recgnitin and affirmatin, and are willing t shwcase their talents and hbbies amng peers. Therefre, the teaching design fr this unit will fully cnsider these characteristics f the students, prmting their active participatin in classrm activities thrugh scenari creatin, interest stimulatin, and cperative learning.
    III. Teaching Objectives
    Knwledge and Skills:
    1.Students can identify and discuss different hbbies and the knwledge they bring.
    2.Students can use the "there be" structure and past tense t describe events.
    3.Students can extract infrmatin frm reading and listening exercises and summarize main ideas.
    4.Students can write abut their experiences f making friends thrugh hbbies.
    Prcess and Methds:
    Thrugh grup discussins, rle-playing, and cperative learning, students' autnmus learning ability, teamwrk spirit, and critical thinking skills are cultivated.
    Cmprehensive English prficiency is imprved thrugh varius frms f training, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
    Emtinal Attitudes and Values:
    Students' interest in hbbies is stimulated, fstering a psitive attitude twards life.
    Students' crss-cultural awareness is develped, fstering respect and understanding fr cultural diversity.

    Mastering vcabulary and sentence patterns related t hbbies.
    Understanding and applying learned knwledge fr ral and written expressin.
    Difficulties:
    Flexibly using learned knwledge in real-life cntexts fr cmmunicatin.
    Deeply explring the underlying meanings and cultural values behind hbbies.

    Teaching Methds: Scenari-based Teaching, Task-based Teaching, Cperative Learning.
    Teaching Aids: Multimedia presentatin, hbby-related pictures r vides, vcabulary cards, grup activity task sheets, etc.

    Step 1: Lead-in
    Activity: Shw a vide featuring varius hbbies, such as music, sprts, and painting, and lead students int a discussin abut their wn hbbies and the reasns behind them.
    Design Intentin: Stimulate students' interest and intrduce the theme f hbbies.
    Step 2: Vcabulary Learning
    Activities:
    Display new wrds n PPT, such as "hbby," "knwledge," "share," "jy," "friend," etc., accmpanied by relevant pictures r bjects.
    Explain the meanings f the wrds and help students understand their usage thrugh example sentences.
    Organize a "Quick Respnse" game where students pint t r name the crrespnding picture r bject when the teacher says the wrd.
    Design Intentin: Help students understand new wrds thrugh visual aids and reinfrce their memry thrugh games.
    Step 3: Reading Cmprehensin
    Activity:
    Guide students t read a text abut hbbies bringing knwledge, such as "Rck music meets the erhu."
    Discuss the main ideas and details f the text, extracting infrmatin.
    Design Intentin: Imprve reading cmprehensin and infrmatin extractin skills.
    Step 4: Grammar Fcus
    Activities:
    Explain the usage f the "there be" structure and past tense.
    Deepen understanding thrugh examples and exercises, cmpleting grammar practice.
    Design Intentin: Help students grasp grammatical knwledge.
    Step 5: Listening Practice
    Activity: Play a listening material abut hbbies, guiding students t btain key infrmatin and design multiple-chice r fill-in-the-blank questins t check understanding.

    Activity:
