      On the tryut day, Alexander tk a deep breath,walked int the building, registered at a large table, and then waited nervusly in the hallway.The nly ne that didn’t lk nervus was Kevin.He had perfrmed as a slist many times.Alexander, n the ther hand, had never taken a music lessn in his life, much less had perfrmed fr an audience.
      After a while, the chir directr, Mr. Rbesn,walked in and tld the kids that they were t sing a sng individually, sing as a grup and answer sme questins.Sn the individual test began.When Alexander std n the stage, he tried t calm dwn and pretended he was singing in the shwer.He felt satisfied when he was dne, at least until Kevin’s turn came.As Kevin’s cnfident vice filled the rm, Alexander realized that he wuld never sund that gd.
      Next, Mr. Rbesn put the kids int grups f fur r five and asked them t sing tgether.Kevin’s grup sang right befre Alexander’s, and even with fur ther bys singing, Kevin’s vice was clear and distinct;it seemed t reach the farthest crners f the rm.

      “That’s Kabir.The frest yu see is his.He planted every single tree.” As we walked twards Kabir, Uncle explained that thirty years ag, the whle area was a wasteland.But ne day Kabir decided t change all that and started planting trees.Thanks t him, part f the wasteland is nw a paradise(天堂).
      Uncle intrduced me t Kabir, wh had gray hair and a determined face.“Jita tld me yu like animals.Are yu ready t see sme?” he asked.“Of curse!” I replied.We cntinued walking and sn were under the trees.I turned my head and was amazed at the difference between the tw places.All was because f the effrts f ne man.
      Like Uncle said, Kabir’s frest was magical.We saw deer, rhins, and even tigers.During lunchtime, Kabir explained hw, by planting trees, it was pssible t stp the land frm erding(侵蚀).
