M: ⑱⑲A gentleman was walking thrugh an elephant camp, and he sptted that the elephants
weren’t being kept in cages r held by the use f chains. The nly thing that held them back frm escaping the camp was a small piece f rpe tied t ne f their legs.
As the man gazed upn the elephants, he was cmpletely cnfused abut why the elephants didn’t
just use their strength t break the rpe and escape the camp. They culd easily have dne s, but instead, they didn’t try t at all. ⑲Wanting t knw the answer, he asked a trainer nearby why
the elephants were just standing there and never tried t escape.
The trainer replied, “When they were very yung and much smaller, we used the same size rpe t tie them. At that age, it was enugh t hld them.
