      Finding the right cllege
When chsing schls, many students and parents lk at their rankings. Rankings are lists that try t shw which US universities are “best”. Famus magazines and websites create these lists every year.
Hwever, a university with a high ranking isn’t necessarily the right ne fr yu. Think f it like chsing a restaurant: The mst expensive restaurant in twn might nt serve the fd yu enjy mst!
Hw US universities are different frm Chinese universities
In China, students usually get int universities based n their gaka scres. But in the US, universities lk at many different things:
      ●Yur grades
      ●Yur activities utside f class
      ●Yur special talents
      ●Yur persnal stry
      ●Yur interests and gals
Gd students and excellent prfessrs can be fund at hundreds f US universities, nt just the highest-ranked nes.
      What rankings dn’t shw yu
Rankings ften fcus n things that might nt matter t yu, such as:
●Hw few students they accept (being “selective”)
      ●Hw many students graduate
●Hw famus the university’s name is
But they dn’t shw imprtant things like:
●Whether the university has gd supprt fr internatinal students
●Hw much individual attentin yu will get frm prfessrs
●Whether the university ffers the specific prgram yu want
●If the lcatin and campus envirnment suit yu
A surprising truth abut famus universities
Here’s smething mst peple dn’t knw: At many famus, highly-ranked universities, under graduate students rarely get taught by well-knwn prfessrs. Instead, many classes are taught by graduate students r newer prfessrs.
Hw t make a smart chice
Instead f just lking at rankings, ask yurself:
      ●What d I want t study?
●What kind f supprt will I need as an internatinal student?
●What size schl wuld make me cmfrtable?
      ●Can I affrd this schl?
      ●Des this lcatin interest me?
      Remember this!
Yur gal shuld be finding the right university fr YOU, nt just picking the ne with the highest ranking. Many excellent US universities might nt appear in the tp rankings but culd ffer exactly what yu need t succeed.

Thrugh intercultural cmmunicatin, we cme t create, understand, and transfrm culture and identity. Intercultural cmmunicatin is cmmunicatin between peple with different cultural identities.

      C. Peple need it differently.D. Emplyers regard it as a basic skill.

      A. DubtfulB. SupprtiveC. IndifferentD. Ambiguus
      【答案】24. A 25. B 26. C 27. B

Accrding t a reprt by China Yuth Daily, there are tw primary types f self-driving systems in use tday: thse that use cameras and thse that use light detectin and ranging (LiDAR,激光雷达). Each type faces its wn set f challenges. Fr example, Tesla’s system uses cameras and deep learning, withut high-precisin maps, which wrks well in clear weather but struggles in bad cnditins like heavy rain r fg. Sme cmpanies like Xpeng Mtrs use LiDAR technlgy, but its high cst-arund 7.000 yuan fr each system makes it difficult t use widely.

These challenges shw that self-driving is nt yet ready fr every real-wrld situatin.
Beynd these technical challenges, the infrastructure fr autnmus driving is still in the early stages f explratin and pilt prjects. Many cities lack a unified plan fr their traffic infrastructure. Autnmus driving systems need real-time data exchange and strng cmputing resurces, and building vehicle-rad cllabratin (协作) requires many parties t wrk tgether. Hwever, many cities’ infrastructures currently d nt yet supprt high-frequency data transmissin.
