He's eighteen years lder than I am.他比我大十八岁。这是两人做比较的句子。句型结构:主语 + be 动词 + 形容词比较级 + 宾语e.g.I am ne year yunger than yu are.
【拓展】形容词比较级的变化规律:(1)规则变化:①一般在形容词词尾加-er:e.g. small – smaller, tall - taller②以e结尾的形容词在词尾直接加-r:e.g. nice - nicer,fine - finer
③重读闭音节的形容词,末尾只有一个辅音字母,双写最后的这个辅音字母再加er:e.g. big – bigger, thin - thinner。④以辅音字母加y结尾的形容词,变y为i,再加-er:happy – happier, funny-funnier⑤多音节的形容词在前面加 mre:e.g. interesting -mre interesting(2)不规则变化:gd –better, bad - wrse

【拓展】名词所有格的构成及用法:名词所有格主要表示有生命的事物或自然界独一无二的;某些空间和时间名词的所有格,如 the wrld's,the sun's,the earth's,tday's,yesterday's 等。(1)单数名词词尾加“s”,复数名词词尾没有 s,也要加“s” e.g. the by’s bag men’s rm
(2)若名词以s结尾,或是复数名词词尾是 s 时,只加“’ ”e.g. the wrkers’ struggle (3)在表示店铺的名字或某人的家时,名词所有格的后面常常不出现它所修饰的名词。e.g. the barber's(4)如果两个名词并列,并且分别有“’s”,则表示“分别有”;只有一个“’s”,则表示“共有”。e.g. Jhn’s and Mary’s rms (两间)Jhn and Tms rm (一间)
