【拓展】形容词比较级的变化规律:(1)规则变化:①一般在形容词词尾加-er:e.g. small – smaller, tall - taller②以e结尾的形容词在词尾直接加-r:e.g. nice - nicer，fine - finer
③重读闭音节的形容词,末尾只有一个辅音字母,双写最后的这个辅音字母再加er:e.g. big – bigger, thin - thinner。④以辅音字母加y结尾的形容词,变y为i，再加-er:happy – happier, funny-funnier⑤多音节的形容词在前面加 mre:e.g. interesting -mre interesting(2)不规则变化:gd –better, bad - wrse

(2)若名词以s结尾,或是复数名词词尾是 s 时,只加“’ ”e.g. the wrkers’ struggle (3)在表示店铺的名字或某人的家时，名词所有格的后面常常不出现它所修饰的名词。e.g. the barber's(4)如果两个名词并列,并且分别有“’s”，则表示“分别有”;只有一个“’s”，则表示“共有”。e.g. Jhn’s and Mary’s rms (两间)Jhn and Tms rm (一间)
