(1)Vcabulary: Students will learn and understand wrds related t time (nw, tday, tmrrw), weather (sunny, rainy, cludy), and daily activities (e.g., reading, playing, running).
(2)Grammar: Students will understand and practice using the present cntinuus tense (am/are/is + verb-ing) t describe actins happening at the mment f speaking.
(3)Adverbs f Frequency: Students will learn hw t use adverbs f frequency (always, usually, ften, smetimes, never) t describe rutines and habits.
2. Skills Develpment:
(1)Listening: Imprve students' listening skills by fcusing n identifying the present cntinuus tense and understanding activities being described.
(2)Speaking: Enhance speaking skills by using the present cntinuus tense t describe current activities and by asking abut thers’ rutines.
(3)Writing: Practice writing crrect sentences with the present cntinuus tense and adverbs f frequency.

Discuss hw peple in different cultures talk abut the weather and daily
rutines.

Cmpare and cntrast the usage f present cntinuus and simple present tense and understand when t use each.

Step 1: Warm-up (5 minutes)

2. Icebreaker Discussin:
(1)Ask: “What are yu ding right nw?” and have students respnd using simple sentences like "I am listening t the teacher" r "I am sitting."
(2)Briefly explain that this is an example f the present cntinuus tense, which we use t describe actins happening right nw.
Step 2: Vcabulary Intrductin (10 minutes)
1. Intrduce Weather Vcabulary:
(1)Shw images f different weather cnditins (sunny, rainy, cludy) and intrduce the crrespnding vcabulary.
Example Sentences:
- "Tday is sunny."
- "It is rainy utside."
- "The sky is cludy."
(2)Have students repeat these sentences and practice prnunciatin.
2. Intrduce Daily Activities Vcabulary:
(1)Use flashcards r pictures t intrduce verbs related t cmmn daily activities (e.g., reading, running, eating, studying, playing).
Example Sentences:
- "I am reading a bk."
- "She is playing basketball."
- "They are studying English."
(2)Get students t repeat the sentences, then ask them t guess the meaning f new wrds.
Step 3: Grammar Fcus – Present Cntinuus Tense (12 minutes)
1. Intrduce Present Cntinuus Structure:
(1) Write the frmula n the bard: am/are/is + verb-ing.
Example Sentences:
- “I am reading a bk.”
- “She is playing sccer.”
- “They are studying fr a test.”
(2)Explain that we use the present cntinuus tense t talk abut things happening right nw.
2. Guided Practice:
(1)Give a few sentences and have students identify the subject, the verb “t be” (am/are/is), and the actin verb with the “-ing” ending.
Example:
- “I am eating lunch.” (Subject: I, Verb: am, Actin: eating)
(2)Ask students t frm their wn sentences based n actins they r their classmates are ding.
3. Grup Wrk:
(1)In pairs, students take turns asking and answering questins abut what they are ding right nw, using the present cntinuus tense.
Example: “What are yu ding nw?” “I am writing n the bard.”
Step 4: Listening Activity (8 minutes)
1. Play an Audi Clip:
Play a shrt audi clip r vide where peple describe activities they are currently ding (e.g., “I am reading a bk,” “She is playing tennis”).
2. Activity:
(1)After listening, students will answer questins n a wrksheet abut what the peple in the audi are ding.
Example Questins:
- “What is the by ding?”
- “Is the girl playing sccer?”
(2)Check answers with the class.
Step 5: Adverbs f Frequency (10 minutes)
1. Intrduce Adverbs f Frequency:
(1)Write the adverbs f frequency n the bard: always, usually, ften, smetimes, never.
(2)Explain that these adverbs tell us hw ften smething happens.
2. Examples with Sentences:
- “I always wake up at 7 a.m.”
- “She usually plays basketball in the afternn.”
- “They never g t bed late.”
3. Practice:
(1)Have students create sentences using adverbs f frequency t describe their wn rutines.
Example: “I smetimes eat pizza.”
(2)In pairs, students can ask each ther: “Hw ften d yu [activity]?” and respnd using the adverbs f frequency.
Step 6: Assignment:
Ask students t write 5 sentences using the present cntinuus tense t describe what they are ding nw.
Then, write 5 sentences using adverbs f frequency t describe their typical daily rutine.
VI.Reflectin:
Effectiveness: Reflect n hw well the students grasped the use f the
present cntinuus tense and adverbs f frequency.
Challenges: Identify any difficulties students faced, such as cnfusin between the present cntinuus and simple present tenses, and plan fr further practice in the next lessn.
