    (e.g., cute, clumsy, wild).
    (2)Students will be prficient in using special interrgative sentences t
    inquire abut animal-related infrmatin, such as "What's yur favurite
    animal?", "What des it lk like?", "Where is it frm?", and "What can
    it d?", and prvide accurate answers.
    ( 3) Students will understand and crrectly use key grammatical
    structures and vcabulary, including "t" (indicating "als" and its
    psitin), "can" (indicating ability, requesting permissin, and pssibility),
    and "ther" and its related wrds (e.g., thers, the ther).
    2.Learning Abilities
    ( 1) Thrugh the extractin and rganizatin f animal infrmatin,
    students will develp infrmatin cllectin and analysis skills.
    ( 2) Rle-playing and grup activities will enhance students' lgical
    thinking and language rganizatin abilities, enabling them t express
    their pinins and ideas cherently.
    ( 3) By cmparing and analyzing easily cnfused vcabulary and

    grammatical structures, students will cultivate critical thinking and
    discriminatin abilities.
    3.Cultural Awareness
    (1)Students will braden their cultural hrizns by understanding the
    symblic meanings and statuses f animals in different cultures.
    (2)Grup activities and rle-playing will fster students' teamwrk
    spirit and cmmunicatin abilities, enhancing their crss-cultural
    cmmunicatin literacy.

    1.Vcabulary: animal names, adjectives describing animals.
    2.Sentence Patterns: Special interrgative sentences related t animals.
    3.Grammar Fcus: The usage f "t", "can", and "ther" and its related
    wrds.
    III. Teaching Difficulties
    1.The crrect use f auxiliary verbs and wrd rder in special
    interrgative sentences.
    2.The distinctins in usage between "t" and "als"/"either", the

    different meanings f "can", and the usage f "ther"-related wrds (e.g.,
    thers, the ther) in varius cntexts.
    3.Guiding students t express their pinins accurately and fluently in
    rle-playing and grup activities while cultivating their teamwrk spirit.
    IV. Teaching Methds
    1.Situatinal Teaching Methd: Creating scenaris related t animals,
    such as z visits and animal interviews, t stimulate students' interest in
    learning and help them better understand and apply the knwledge
    learned.
    2. Task-Driven Methd: Assigning varius tasks, such as listening t
    dialgues and answering questins, rle-playing, and grup reprts, t
    engage students actively in classrm activities and imprve their
    language prficiency.
    3.Cperative Learning Methd: Organizing grup activities, such as
    grup discussins and grup reprt prductin, t cultivate students'
    teamwrk spirit and cmmunicatin abilities.

    V. Teaching Prcedures
    1.Lead-in (5 minutes)
    (1)Shw pictures f animals and guide students t review the animal
    wrds and adjectives learned in the previus lessn.
    (2)Ask students sme simple questins abut animals t revise key
    sentence patterns and pave the way fr new lessn learning.
    2.Listening Practice (10 minutes)
    (1)Play the dialgue recrding f 2a and ask students t listen and
    circle the clred wrds they hear. Befre playing, remind students t
    cncentrate. After listening, they can exchange their answers with their
    deskmates.
    (2)Play the recrding again, pausing sentence by sentence, and let
    students repeat the sentences they hear t check their listening
    cmprehensin and crrect prnunciatin.
    3.Vcabulary and Sentence Pattern Learning (10 minutes)
    (1)Based n the listening cntent, explain key vcabulary and sentence
    patterns. Fr example, explain the meanings and usage f adjectives such
    as "cute", "cl", "lvely", "amazing", as well as the usage f sentence

    patterns such as "Why d yu " and "Because...".
    ( 2) Guide students t describe ther animals using the learned
    vcabulary and sentence patterns fr ral practice.
    4.Applicatin Practice (15 minutes)
    (1)Questin-asking exercise: Shw questins related t the listening
    cntent and let students answer them t cnslidate their understanding f
    the listening infrmatin. Then, let students wrk in pairs t ask and
    answer these questins t further familiarize themselves with the use f
    special interrgative sentences.
    (2)Rle-playing: Let students listen t the dialgue recrding f 2e
    again, paying attentin t the prnunciatin f unstressed wrds. Then,
    students are divided int grups t rle-play the dialgue cntent,
    practicing prnunciatin and intnatin t imprve their ral expressin
    abilities.
    (3)Card filling: Give each student a card and let them fill in the card
    cntent accrding t their favrite animal, including animal name,
    appearance, rigin, fd, and abilities. After filling in, students exchange
    and share the cntent they filled in with their deskmates t understand the
    characteristics f different animals.
    5.Grup Activities (15 minutes)

    ( 1) Divide students int grups f 4-5 peple. Each grup selects
    several animals, and grup members act as reprters t interview ther
    members abut their favrite animals and recrd relevant infrmatin.
    (2)Grup members cllectively rganize the interview infrmatin and
    prduce a reprt n their favrite animals. Each grup selects a
    representative t present the grup reprt t the class, and students frm
    ther grups can ask questins and prvide feedback. The teacher
    cmments n each grup's reprt, emphasizes the key pints, and
    encurages students t actively participate in grup activities t cultivate
    teamwrk spirit and cmprehensive language use abilities.
    VI. Summary and Hmewrk (5 minutes)
    1.Lead students t review the main cntent learned in this lessn,
    including animal-related vcabulary, special interrgative sentence
    patterns, and key grammatical structures and vcabulary (e.g., "t",
    "can", "ther").
    2. Cnslidate the learned knwledge by asking students sme questins
    abut animals.
    Emphasize the key and difficult pints f this lessn and remind students
    t fcus n the usage f easily cnfused vcabulary and grammatical
    structures when reviewing after class.

    VII. Hmewrk Assignment
    1.Cmplete a wrksheet related t the lessn cntent, including
    fill-in-the-blank exercises abut animal infrmatin t test students'
    mastery f animal-related infrmatin and their ability t use key
    vcabulary and sentence patterns.
    2.Write a shrt essay intrducing ne's favrite animal, including its
    appearance, living habits, and reasns fr liking it, with a minimum f 60
    sentences.
    VIII. Teaching Reflectin
    Thrugh diversified teaching methds and rich teaching activities,
    students actively participate in classrm learning and basically achieve
    the expected teaching bjectives. Hwever, sme issues are als
    identified during the teaching prcess, such as the need t further guide
    and encurage sme students wh are nt very engaged in grup
    activities, and t strengthen the guidance f listening skills fr individual
    students wh have nt accurately captured sme key wrds. In future
    teaching, these issues will be addressed t cntinuusly imprve the
    teaching prcess and quality.
