    lk, sund, smell, taste, feel,这五个动词均可作连系动词,后面接形容词作表语,说明主语所处的状态。其意思分别为“看/听/闻/尝/摸起来……”。除lk之外,其它几个动词的主语往往是物,而不是人。
    这些花闻起来很香。These flwers smell very sweet.这些西红柿摸起来很软。The tmates feel very sft.
    3. Well, my chclate ckies are dne nw. 恩,我的巧克力饼干做好了。I’m nearly dne. 我差不多做完了。Are yu dne with that pen? 那支笔你用完了吗?
    句中的be dne表示“做好了,完成了”。例如:
    床铺都整理好了。The beds are dne.

    smell /smel/ v. 有……的气味;闻;闻出(其过去式为 smelled/smelt,过去分词为 smelled/smelt)n. 气味e.g. The air was filled with the smell f flwers.空气中弥漫着花香。Every day, I can smell the flwers and hear the birds sing.每天我都能闻到花香,听到鸟儿唱歌。The flwer smells sweet. 这花闻起来很香。
    Wuld yu like t d sth.? 你想要做某事吗?Wuld yu like t d sth.? 意为“你想要做某事吗?”带有委婉的语气,用来提出建议或发出邀请。其肯定回答常用“Yes, I’d like/lve t.” “Sure, that sunds great.”等;其否定回答常用“I’d like/lve t, but...”等。
    Wuld yu 句型用来表示邀请或建议,此句型中可用sme,不可用any;可用smething,不可用anything。
    e.g. —Wuld yu like t play tennis with me?你想和我一起打网球吗?—Yes, I’d like t. 是的,我想打。/I’d like t, but I have t d my hmewrk first.我想打,但是我得先做家庭作业。
    wuld like sth. 想要某物wuld like t d sth. 想要做某事wuld like sb. t d sth. 想要某人做某事
    lvely /'lʌvli/ adj. 令人愉快的;可爱的;亲切友好的lvely 形容词,既可以修饰人,也可以修饰物。e.g. It’s a lvely day. Mrs Black is walking in the park with her lvely daughter.今天天气真好。布莱克夫人和她可爱的女儿正在公园里散步。
    拓展:常见的以-ly 结尾的形容词还有:friendly 友好的daily 日常的;每天的mnthly 每月的mtherly 慈母般的
    be afraid + (that) 从句I’m afraid (that)... 意为“恐怕……”,可用来表示推测、歉意、礼貌的拒绝或者引出不好的消息。e.g. I’m afraid (that) yu’ve cme t the wrng address.恐怕你找错地址了。
    I’m afraid s. 恐怕是这样。I’m afraid nt. 恐怕不是这样。
    a bit 一点儿;有点儿
    e.g. I feel a bit/a little thirsty. 我感觉有点儿渴。There’s nly a bit f/a little fd left fr lunch.午餐只剩下一点儿食物了。
    一语辨异:My mther ften says that she is nt a bittired, but in fact she is nt a little tired.我母亲常说她一点儿也不累,但实际上她非常累。

    might在形式上尽管是may 的过去式,但在表示推测时它并不表示过去。might 表示的可能性比may 表示的可能性要小。
