    My first term at MIT(麻省理工学院)was awesme—I gt all A’s, and I declared math as my majr. My parents were expecting me t becme a dctr like them s I was trying t satisfy them. But I was desperately running away frm them. I had n idea what I wanted t d with my life. My third term, I ended up with a D in math. I didn’t d that well in my ther classes, either. It seemed like all my friends were ding s well, getting pprtunities ver the summers.
    My fifth term, I realized that I was awful at higher-level math. I had lst all cnfidence in myself. I went t a few classes at the beginning f the term, but after by midterm, I had ttally stpped. My nly relief was the dance team I was n. I wuld sleep all day, and then g t dance practice, and then g back t sleep. As expected, I failed in all f my classes and had t withdraw frm MIT.
    I had n chice but t tell my parents. Instead f yelling r hitting me, thugh, they just held me and cried. The next day, my dad tk a day ff frm wrk and tk me t a nearby, small arts cllege.
    I had lst all cnfidence in myself. Befre my first bilgy test, I didn’t think I culd pass. I did pass. Since I had s much free time, I decided t jin a bilgy lab. I realized that was what I wanted t d! I wanted t be a scientist!
    This past May, I graduated with the highest hnrs, and nw I have my PhD in bilgy. Thugh it ended up taking me 5 years t graduate frm cllege, I can say nw that drpping ut f MIT was ne f the best things that ever happened t me. I’ve realized that a persn is nt their grades. I’ve realized hw much my parents lved me. I’ve finally discvered my passin(热情)in life!

    Mrgan's Wnderland, lcated in San Antni, Texas, is a theme park mainly intended fr mentally r physically disabled children. The park was built by Grdn Hartman, a frmer real estate(房地产) develper.
