    Have students answer the fllwing questins:

    On what days d yu usually have gegraphy lessns? When d yu usually have Chinese lessns?
    Which prepsitin we use befre each time?
    Expressin will answering the abve three questins
    Step2 prepsitins f time
    We use “at” befre time f the day, “ n ”befre days and “in” befre parts f the day.
    Have students read mre sentences in the table n page 47 and wrk ut the rules. Have students circle the nuns, numbers r nun phrases representing time in the table n page 47
    Have students find ut the rules accrding t the circled wrds
    We use “ in” befre parts f the day, mnths, seasns and years, “n” befre days, dates, parts f a special day and special hlidays. And “ at” befre time f the day and age.
    Have students g thrugh grammar check befre pages 142 and 143
    Step 3 Practice
    Have students practice using prepsitins f time.
    Have students circle the nuns, numbers r nun phrases representing time in part a ne n page 47.
    Have students finish part ne n page 47
    Have students use prepsitins f time t ask and answer questins
    A: When is children's day?
    B: It’s n 1 June.
    A: What seasn is it in?
    B: It's in summer.
    A: When d yu usually chat with yur classmates?
    B: We usually chat at lunchtime.
    A: When did yu start learning English?
    B: At seven years ld.
    Step 4 Adverbs f frequency
    Have students d the fllwing exercises
    Shw the schl's weekly menu and have students talk abut what they eat fr lunch at schl.
    Have students try t use adverbs f frequency t change the three sentences abve, accrding t the graph n page 48.
    Have students lk at the graph n page 48 and find ut the rule.
    The adverbs are put in rder f frequency, frm lw t high. Never, seldm. Smetimes, ften, usually always.
    Have students g thrugh grammar check n page 143 give explanatins if necessary.
    Have students practice using the adverbs f frequency. Have students finish part B n page 48 accrding t the graph abve.
    Have students lk at adverbs f frequency in the test and discuss where t put each adverb f frequency.
