Belw, find fur f the very best fall mvies - which are nt necessarily mvies set in the fall, but which represent fall in sme way - t get yu thrugh t December.
When Harry Met Sally...(1989)
When I think f fall, I autmatically picture Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal walking thrugh a leaf-strewn Central Park and talk abut Sally’s ultimate sexual fantasy. The film cycles thrugh varius seasns, but it feels brightest and mst alive in fall, making it the perfect thing t get yu thrugh a frustrating Nvember afternn.
Autumn in New Yrk (2000)
I mean... hw culd I nt include this ne? Title aside, this Winna Ryder features many f the things I mst as sciate with fall, including Central Park, small museums, and a wman dressed up as Emily Dickinsn. We lve t see it and cry at it.
The Ryal Tenenhaums (2001)
There’s simply n film character wh represents the cncept f autumn quite like Margt Tenenbaum. Her seasnally apprpriate clipped hair, charming eyes, and wardrbe f primarily brwns all but scream ut the reasn fr the seasn; and while signature fur cat might seem mre winter near, her fndness fr pairing it with Lacste pl dresses is fall all the way. In what ther seasn can yu wear a cat with a dress, lgically speaking?
Mna Lisa Smile (2003)
I’m actually an enthusiastic advcate f watching this Julia Rberts/Julia Stiles/Kirsten Dunst trifecta (三强联袂) in any seasn, but watching it in fall will make yu desire a well-knitted sweater and a therms f tea t take alng with yu while yu cheer fr the bys at the Harvard-Yale game.
21.In what film des a lady dress herself as Emily Dickinsn?
A.When Harry Met SallyB.Autumn in New Yrk

Abut 24 years ag, a student asked t interview me fr a class task. He psed an interesting questin, “What is the mst challenging part f teaching?” I still peridically (偶尔,间歇) think abut this questin.
My respnse was t try t make each class the best ne in an imaginative way. This challenge still hlds true these many years and hundreds f classes later.
I am nt the best at planning, smething that my wife will readily cnfirm, but the prcess f preparing is jyful. Whether I am teaching a curse fr the first time r taught it a dzen times befre, I wnder abut the ways that I can engage students in the c-learning prcess. But I find I am inefficient when I wnder hw my teaching will affect future innvatin. As I was preparing fr recent classes, I faced tw items.
First, I was struck by three wrds frm Nancy Kanwisher, prfessr f Neurscience at MIT. In an interview abut face blindness, Kanwisher fund an amazing result in peple’s brain scans. Asked what this finding meant t her, she replied with a smile, “That’s the magic f science. It’s fun t be tld that yu’re cmpletely wrng. Nw yu have t g back and think the new.” Thinking the new is a brilliant and simple way t summarize creativity.
The secnd cmes frm the wisdm f Jn Kabat-Zinn, knwn fr his wrk in meditatin (冥想) and mindfulness-based stress reductin. He said, “Mst f ur thughts are rather imprisning even thugh thinking drives imaginatin and creativity. S we need t create a bigger stage fr ur thughts and watch hw they self-liberate.”
These cncepts — thinking the new and allwing thughts t self liberate — aren’t easy nes t master, but can inspire us all in imprving ur innvative spirits. Nw it’s time fr me t d my best in thinking the new tward my next class.

We are all aware f the damaging pllutin that’s created by driving petrl and diesel (柴油) vehicles. Many f the wrld’s cities are blcked with traffic, creating fumes cntaining gases such as nitrgen xides. The slutin fr a cleaner, greener future culd be electric vehicles. But hw ptimistic shuld we be? There was much excitement last year when the UK gvernment annunced it will ban the sale f new petrl and diesel cars frm 2030. But is that easier said than dne?
The rad t glbal traffic being ttally electric is still a lng way ff. Currently, battery life is an issue — a fully charged battery wn’t take yu as far as a full tank f petrl. There are als limited numbers f charging pints t plug an electric vehicle (EV) int. Of curse, technlgy is always imprving. Sme f the biggest tech cmpanies, like Ggle and Tesla, are spending huge amunts f mney develping electric cars. And mst f the big car prducers are nw making them t. Clin Herrn, a cnsultant n lw-carbn vehicle technlgy, tld the BBC: “The big leap frward will cme with slid state batteries, which will appear first in mbile phnes and laptps befre they prgress t cars.” These will charge mre quickly and give cars a bigger range. Cst is anther issue that may discurage peple switching t electric pwer. But sme cuntries ffer incentive, such as cutting prices by reducing imprt taxes, and nt charging fr rad tax and parking. Sme als prvide special lanes fr electric cars t be driven n, vertaking traditinal cars which might be stuck in jams.
These kinds f measures have made Nrway the cuntry with the mst electric cars per capita (人均) at mre than thirty electric cars per 1000 inhabitants. But Clin Herrn warns that “electric mtring” desn’t mean a zer-carbn future. “It’s emissin-free mtring, but the car has t be built, the battery has t be built, and the electricity des cme frm smewhere.” Maybe it’s time t think abut making fewer jurneys r using public transprt.
28.What can we infer frm the questin at the end f paragraph 1?
A.We shuld nt be t ptimistic abut the future.

B.Electric Vehicles: a Rad t a Greener Future
