    本单元语法延续了必修二第六单元的内容,进一步展现过去分词的功能,在前面单元里,主要讲解过去分词作宾语补足语,到了本单元,我们将会明白过去分词的另一重要功能:做状语
    过去分词 作状语
    1. Disappinted by his behavir, I said all this t my best friend.2. Treated this way, yu’re sure t feel hurt--… Apprached in this way, yur friendship will sn be repaired.4. Filled with anger, yu tend t say whatever cmes t yur mind.
    1. Attracted by a particular article in a magazine, Anne bught it.2. Praised in class, the girl felt happy as well as ashamed.3. Wrried abut the jurney, I was unsettled fr the first few days.4. Asked why he was late, he went red.5. Encuraged by the teachers and classmates, they were determined t win the relay race.
    ◆ 过去分词作状语应具备的条件
    ※ 过去分词的逻辑主语与和主句主语应保持一致※ 过去分词一般表被动或完成
    1. Asked her future plan, the girl said that she wanted t be a teacher.句中 asked的逻辑主语就是后面句子中的 the girl. 即两者主语一致,且“asked”这个动作对 the girl来说是被动的.2. Frightened by the tiger,the by didn't dare t sleep alne.句中 frightened 的逻辑主语就是后面句子中的 the by. 即两者主语一致,且“frightened”这个动作对于the by 来说是被动的3. Grwn in rich sil, these seeds can grw fast. 句中 grwn 的逻辑主语就是后面句子中的 these plants. 即两者主语一致,且“grwn”这个动作对于 these plants 来说是被动的.
    ●时间状语 ●原因状语 ●条件状语 ●让步状语 ●方式或伴随状语

    ◆过去分词作状语相当于状语从句,方式或伴随状语可换成 and 连接的并列谓语
    1. Seriusly injured, he had t be taken t the hspital. (原因)=Because he was seriusly injured, he had t be taken t the hspital.2. Seen frm the hill, the twn lks mre beautiful. (时间)=When the twn is seen frm the hill, it lks mre beautiful.3. The ld man walked int the rm, supprted by his sn.(方式)= The ld man walked int the rm and was supprted by his sn.
    4. The by entered the classrm, fllwed by a dg.(伴随)= The by entered the classrm and was fllwed by a dg.贴心提示:过去分词作伴随或方式状语时可以变成 and 连接的并列谓语动词,所以这里的 and 为并列连词,而非从属连词5. Laughed at by many peple, he cntinued his study. (让步) =Althugh he was laughed at by many peple, he cntinued his study.6. Given anther 10 days, we are sure t cmplete repairing the machine.(条件) =If we are given anther 10 days, we are sure t cmplete repairing the machine.
    ◆过去分词作状语,前边可加 when, while, unless, nce, as if/thugh, if, thugh, althugh等连词, 构成“连词+过去分词”形式, 但是,连词because 一般没有这种用法, 请观察以下句子
    1. When asked abut her age, she kept silent.2. If seen in anther aspect, the matter isn’t s simple as it lks.3. Even if invited, I will nt take part in the party t be held during the surprised t see us, the hst gave us a warm welcme.5. Once published, his nvel was ppular with yungest.6. Thugh wunded, the brave sldier cntinued t fight.7. If heated t a high temperature, it will change int vapr.8. Time, if used crrectly, is mney in the bank.

    过去分词- ed 与 现在分词- ing 作状语的区别:- ed 作状语,与句子主语是被动关系;- ing 作状语,与句子主语是主动关系
    ◆ 让我轻轻告诉您:有些过去分词或过去分词短语已不再强调被动的动作, 而是已经形容词化, 完全相当于一个形容词了, 这样的过去分词常见有:excited; interested; puzzled; shcked; astnished;mved; surprised; amazed; amused; disappinted; tired; lst; seated;absrbed; dressed; devted; determined; lcated, …请观察以下句子

    ◆过去分词的否定形式:nt dne

    ●用所给词的适当形式填空
