t-infinitive as attributive
不定式作定语,一般作后置定语,与被修饰的名词或代词之间是主谓关系、动宾关系、同位关系或修饰关系。
主谓关系(被修饰的名词或代词实际上是不定式的逻辑主语) I need smene t help with the wrk.(Smene will help with the wrk.)
注意:在“某人是第…位做某事的人”固定结构中,不定式与被修饰的词间是主谓关系;
Edisn was the first man t invent electric lights.而“某人是第几位被…的人”的结构中,应用过去分词dne做后置定语。He was the first freiner invited t take phts f Chinese pandas.
2. 动宾关系(被修饰的名词或代词是动词不定式的逻辑主语)
On Sundays, he always has a lt f letters t write. (t write many letters)
3 同位关系
(某些抽象名词后面用不定式说明某种情况,陈述某种事实),如:chance, pprtunity, way, time, right, need, mment, ambitin, desire, prmise, wish, curage, failure等.
We students shuld have the curage t face any difficulty.

4. 修饰关系Nw it is time t begin ur class.
注意:
① 不定式作定语要考虑与主语的关系,主语是不定式的逻辑主语,不定式要用主动式;反之用被动式。

注意事项:
由于动词不定式与其修饰的词之间往往有动宾关系,而该不定式动词为不及物动词时,其后须加上适当的介词,构成不定式短语,即不定式+介词结构,介词一般不可省去,如:

He has n friend t depend n.

1. 多用于固定句型搭配中,也可以表示出乎意料,意想不到的结果,常常限于learn, find, be tld, see, hear等动词。

2. 不定式表示结果常见于下列句型 1) t d (如此…而能够…)Wuld yu be s kind as t lend me yur bicycle? 把你的自行车借给我好吗?2) t d (如此…而能够…)We are nt such fls as t believe him.我们还没蠢到会相信他的地步3) enugh t d (足够地…而能够… )He didn't run fast enugh t catch the train. 他跑得不够快,没赶上火车。
5) d (太…而不能够…)

他的视力太差了,看不清这么小的字。
注意:t之前如果有nly, nt, never, all, but,此时不定式不再表否定意义,而表肯定意义,nly t 表“非常”、“很”意。如:They are nly t lucky t g abrad fr a visit. 他们很幸运去国外访问。 2. One is never t ld t learn. 活到老学到老。 另外,t后如果是happy, glad,kind, anxius, easy, delighted, eager, pleased, ready, surprised, willing之类形容词时,不定式也表肯定意义,如:She was t happy t meet her ld friend in the street.
