    David is a 22-year-ld man. Nt having received a cllege educatin, he fund it difficult t find a jb. He wrked at a small cmpany and wasn’t paid well. He thught life was unfair and ften cmplained.
    One day, his bss asked him t g t his ffice. T his sadness he was tld he didn’t need t cme t wrk again.
    That day, David didn’t g straight back t the small apartment he shared with anther man. He wanted t find a quiet place and sit there quietly fr sme time. Having lst his jb, he had n idea what t d.
    He walked and walked. Finally he stpped in frnt f a beautiful huse. The huse had a very big garden behind it. He saw an ld man sitting in the garden.
    The ld man must be a millinaire, thught David. “Hw I wish I were him, I If I were him. I wuldn’t have t wrk and I’d have a large amunt f mney. I wuld be the happiest man in the whle wrld.”
    Thinking hw pr he was, David was even sadder. He hurriedly walked frward, fund a place and sat there quietly.
    Finally, he became hungry and decided t g back hme. On his way back hme, he passed the ld man's huse again. This time the man was sitting in his frnt yard. When David passed by him, he nticed that the ld man was lking at him. The ld man lked as if he admired him very much. David was cnfused. Why wuld such a rich man admire him? He was s pr while he was s rich.
    Finally, David decided t have a talk with the ld man. S he stpped and walked t the ld man.
    “Hell,” he said.
    “Hell,” said the ld man.
    Then they started talking. David tld the ld man he really admired him.
    “Yu have such a beautiful huse. Yu re s rich! Hw I wish I were yu!” said David.
    Hearing that, the ld man smiled and said, “And I admire yu, t! I wish I were yu! If I yu, I’d still enjy my yuth. Nw I’m s ld. Wealth desn’t mean much t me!”
